INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Refer to the manufacturers instructions for use and precautions for soaking, cleaning or disinfecting solutions. INDICATIONS FOR USE CIDEX Instrument Tray Systems are used to contain cleaning and disinfecting fluid for the pre-cleaning and disinfecting of reusable medical instruments. CLEANING Before using the tray for the first time, or when changing solutions, thoroughly wash (using mild detergent) and rinse the tray. Always follow the manufacturers instructions for the detergent. • The tray can either be air dried, or dried with a lint free cloth. • When the tray is completely dry, new solution may be poured into the tray. PRECAUTIONS Discontinue use of the CIDEX Trays when they become cracked or damaged in any way to prevent leakage of solution. All personnel who use CIDEX Trays should follow Standard Precautions and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as defined by hospital or healthcare facilities. Reusable labels for identifying the contents of the tray when in use are provided for your convenience. DISPOSAL You may dispose this product in accordance with your National, Federal, State, and Local regulations or per healthcare facility’s policies and procedures.
