Make sure Test Strip is at room temperature and prepare other supplies.

If needed, change the strip code on the screen by pressing the UP/DOWN button. Press OK to change a digit. Press OK again to proceed with the test. Wait for the monitor to warm up.

Turn on the monitor by pressing the centre of the silver button or by inserting a Test Strip.

When the system beeps and shows a green light, it is time to perform a finger stick.

Insert the Test Strip at the prompt, check the strip code on the screen matches the strip code.

Immediately apply a large, hanging drop of blood to the sample well of the Test Strip. Allow the blood drop to touch the well and hold there until machine beeps.
