Setting the language There is a choice of five languages for Smartbox Invest‘s controls (German, English, Italian, French and Spanish). If the preset language is not the language you want, then switch the machine off. Then press the return button (2) and the start button (3) at the same time and switch the machine on when the buttons are still being pressed. Keep pressing the buttons (2 and 3) until the language selection menu appears. Using the MFK (1), select the desired language (by turning) and confirm it (by pressing). After the language has been set, menu level 1 will appear automatically.

Charging Smartbox Invest Before charging, lay out all components so that charging can be done quickly. After about 3-5 hours, all the components will have achieved the required set temperature. Pre-heated components minimise the time needed to reach the required set temperature! The cooling time also always depends on the ambient or room temperature! Example: cool down components that are 25 °C to the 18 °C set temperature in the device = cooling time approx. 3.5 hours. 17

Cleaning functions On menu level 2, item „Additional functions“, you can find the sub-items Water extraction, liquid extraction and powder extraction. Maintenance/care As with the majority of AmannGirrbach machines, Smartbox Invest is designed to be maintenancefree and that is why they are provided with a maintenance-free conveying and dosing unit. The machine must be kept clean at all costs. In addition, please ensure that no fluid gets into the conveying screw. Never clean the Smartbox Invest with compressed air or a steam cleaner!
