Gorilla Sterilisers – Quick Reference Guide The Sterilisers are programmed to blow down the Steam Generator each night and start an Auto Warm Up cycle each morning. The Generator blow down will occur at around midnight unless the steriliser is in use, any loads still in the chamber will not be harmed during the blowdown. The steriliser will then shut down (deep sleep) until the Auto Warm Up starts around 6.30am. Loads that remain in the chamber during the warm up must be discarded. One steriliser will remain off on the weekend. Auto WarmUp A warm up cycle is not a sterilising cycle, sterilising parameters may not be achieved, When releasing the Warm Up the steriliser will prompt you to enter a code to acknowledge you are aware of this.
Items in the chamber after an Auto Warm Up cannot be regarded as sterile On completion of the Auto Warm Up the following screen appears with the message; (*a dark screen indicates “screen saver mode” touch screen to activate.)

The cycle now must be recorded on Instacount Open & Close a Warm Up cycle using the scanner, the link number will not be shown on the screen it can be obtained when you start the next cycle (Bowie Dick) Link as a 4 digit number eg; G2/2341 and Release cycle 1

The Bowie Dick tests the sterilisers ability to remove all air from the chamber and must be performed with only the test device in the chamber
Click on
“Pre Vac Cycles” tab
Click on
“Bowie Dick” tab
Click on
“Start Cycle” tab
Screen shows Bowie Dick cycle running Cycle needs to be linked now on Instacount Link as 4 digit number; eg G1/2384
Screen shows cycle complete
Click on
“Open Door” tab
Remove ETS/Test Pack and record results
If the steriliser is not going to be used immediately the door should be closed, this will keep the chamber warm preventing condensate and wet loads. From Main Menu Screen Click on Doors tab Click on “Open” tab

Gorilla Sterilisers – Quick Reference Guide Running a Sterilising Cycle All sterilising cycles are started from the “Favorites” tab on the Main Menu Screen
If door is closed click on “Doors” button Click on “closed” tab The screen will flick back to the Main Menu Screen
Select cycle from menu
Screen shows: Mixed cycle has been selected The parameters for this cycle If this is the cycle you wish to run…. Press “Start Cycle” tab
Screen shows: Type of cycle Stage of the cycle Cycle numberCycle needs to be linked now on instacount Link as 4 digit number; eg G1/2187 The screen also will show the time remaining by clicking on the “Time Remaining” tab which will only appear after the steriliser has started the Sterilising stage A successful sterilising cycle is indicated by a series of beeps while the screen shows a “Pass.” The cycle data is now written and stored on the data card. The door will automatically open and the Main Menu Screen will appear.

Gorilla Sterilisers – Quick Reference Guide Starting a Manual Warmup cycle from the Main menu A warm up cycle is not a sterilising cycle; sterilising parameters may not be achieved, when starting the Warm Up the steriliser will prompt you to enter a code to acknowledge you are aware of this.
The Manual warm up cycle is accessed in the “Special Purpose” tab
Select “Warm Up Cycle” tab
Click on the number box
Enter code
3000 and press Enter key
Click on
“Confirm”
Click on final confirm to acknowledge this is not a Sterilising cycle
