ATMOS® i View COLPO microscope arm in operating position
The other side of the sensor board contains the electronics for the proximity sensor 2 with IR diode and IR receiver. When the microscope is in the park position, a metal angle Information on the device 11
1 reflects the beam of light onto the metal angle. As soon as the IR receiver receives the light for longer than 1 second, the microscope is switched off. This prevents the microscope from flickering if it is subjected to vibrations. As soon as the microscope is moved to the operating position, the metal angle stops reflecting the light and the microscope is switched on.
