Release the ‘click clack’ and verify if the side-rail is locked in place.

Sections can be adjusted to 2 different sizes by a comfortable and reliable “click-clack” device as shown in the picture: just pull the black knob with a hand and with the other hand pull out the section to the desired size, release the black knob and verify if the section is locked.
Bed Extension from 200 to 220cm. Turn the two black handwheel knobs (right and left side) below the foot section and pull the foot section out, then extract the mattress holder from its socket and place it as shown in the picture. Central Braking System: Braked - Swivelling- Steering

ATTENTION: For your safety, during bed transfers, be sure that the sections are in flat position and the height of the bed is at least 55cm from the ground, so as to drive the bed from a safe and appropiate height while pushing or pulling the foot board.
Central Braking System At Footside: the pedal can be adjusted by foot sideways on its shorter part or right in front on its longer part.
Steering position: push the pedal up until the steering castor is engaged. This adjustment allows driving the bed on a straight line. Swivelling Position: push the pedal in the neutral position, castors are free to swivel, they are all unlocked. Braked Position: push the pedal down, castors are all locked now. Persons who are not acquainted with the user instructions must not use the bed. 4. The operator is responsible for the safety of other people in the working area. 5. Moving the bed is allowed only if the patient needs it. 6. Its use is not allowed for other purposes. 7. For your safety, during bed transfers, be sure that the sections are in flat position and the height of the bed is at least 55cm from the ground, so as to drive the bed from a safe and appropriate height while pushing or pulling the foot board. 8. Remove any objects or obstacles that might be present in the working area. 9. Remember to lock the castors after moving the bed. 10. When not in use hook the handset on the top of the siderails. 11. Make sure that all nuts, bolts and screws are kept well tightened down so as to work in conditions of perfect safety. 12. Replacement Battery Pack
1. Open the battery cover, and take the battery out.
2. Disconnect the rechargeable battery pack then replace it by a new one. Put the battery back then arrange the connector in place well.
Instructions For Charging and Cleaning
ATTENTION! Connect power tool for at least 8 hours
Adapter
If prompt displays on the LCD, please charge the scale with exclusive adaptor. Locate adaptor plug on the rear side of indicator. The battery should be recharged at least every 3 months regardless if it is used or not. After a long period in storage, e.g. over 3 months, the battery should run a full cycle (charge/discharge) to allow it to restore to full capacity.

Weighing Switch the scale on using the key . The instrument runs a self-test and displays the installed software version. The display shows "0,00 kg" and the scale is ready for use. Note: If the display does not show 0.0kg, press the key
to reset the indication.
Standby Function From the weighing mode, press the STANDBY button before you add/remove one or more objects to/from the bed.
When the display shows “stdby”, you can add or remove one or more objects.
Press the STANDBY button again to confirm the operation and return to the weighing mode. The weight displayed before and after the operation will be the same.
In standby mode, when “----” is displayed it indicates a negative value.
By pressing the STANDBY button for 3 seconds, you can return to the weighing mode.

Weight Management Function Press the CW key for 3 seconds to set the weight control.
Inserting an upper limit. Use the TARE key to decrease the value and the STANDBY key to move to the next digit. Press the ON/ZERO/OFF button to confirm and move to the lower limit. Insert a lower limit. Use the TARE key to decrease the value and the STANDBY key to move to the next digit.
Press the CW key to confirm and return to weighing mode.
Use the CW button to activate/deactivate the weight control function.
Weight Within Limits The LED on the limits symbol flashes.
Weight above or below the limits The LED on the limits symbol lights up and a beep sounds.

Tare Function The tare function allows you to cancel the weight of objects or clothing in order to detect the actual weight (net) of the patient. Switch the instrument on by pressing the key

When the zero is displayed and the terminal emits a double beep, apply the object/ clothes making up the tare load on the load receptor. When the weight is steady press the key. The weight indicator displays zero . Position the patient to be weighed (without removing the tare weight). The weight displayed is the net weight of the patient. To delete the cancelled tare weight, remove all the objects from the load receptor and press the key again
Setting Setup Switch ON the scale and long press key for 3 seconds, first “SETUP” and then “A.OFF” will display successively. When the instrument is turned on, press the button for three seconds . The display shows in sequence the "SETUP" and the first menu item "A.OFF". AUTO-OFF TIME SETUP: This function allows you to set the sleep time (120 sec /180 sec /240 sec /300 sec /off) BUZZER ON/OFF: This function allows you to set the beep sound (ON / OFF).
