VARIOGUIDE ASSEMBLY STEP 1 • Place the disc joint onto the ring of the VarioGuide arm • Make sure to match the six teeth on the ring to the indentations on the disc joint
NOTE: Only one orientation is possible.
STEP 2 • Rotate the disc joint 180° to the position shown • Insert the Joint 1 lock and position the lock so that it fits against the ring of the VarioGuide arm • Secure Joint 1 by turning the nut clockwise
STEP 3 • Insert the reference array holder into the disc joint until it comes into contact with the stop screw • Screw the reference array holder in until you can slide it freely in the disc joint
STEP 4 • Slide the reference array holder in the disc joint until the lines on both components are aligned • Turn the nut as shown in order to secure the reference array holder to the disc joint

STEP 5 • Place the VarioGuide array onto the reference array holder • Make sure to match the six teeth on the ring of the reference array holder to the indentations on the array
STEP 6 • Turn the VarioGuide array 90° as shown until the lines on both components are aligned • Insert the Joint 3 lock and position the lock so that it fits against the ring of the reference array holder • Secure Joint 3 by turning the nut clockwise
STEP 7 • Place the inner disc onto the VarioGuide array, aligning the required diameter on the inner disc to the arrow on the array • Press the inner disc until it clicks into position • Assemble the lock ring to the outer disc • Attach the assembled lock ring and outer disc to the inner disc. Align the lines (in yellow) on the inner and outer discs. • Screw the lock ring into place
STEP 8 The assembled VarioGuide is now in the initial position and can be connected to the V-connector
