Pumps produced after June 2004, with serial numbers greater than 1000.04 Caution: Users must familiarise themselves will full user instructions. These notes provide only a reminder of main functions. Pump Activation and Changing the Battery This is conducted when it is necessary to modify syringe size selection, or when replacing a depleted battery. Remove and replace battery. Screen will momentarily flash all symbols. Syringe size (10 or 20) will flash on screen. To change between values just press the (+) button for a few seconds until required value is displayed. Pump will re-set and [OFF] is displayed. Note: Partial Syringe Volume is reset to Full Syringe during this procedure. Unlocking the Keypad Prior to making any program changes the keyboard must be unlocked. With the pump displaying [OFF] press the (-) key for approximately 7 seconds. A number representing the number of completed infusions will appear on the screen. While still holding the (-) key depress the (+) key at the same time and the screen will display [Lo.0] and keyboard is unlocked. Programming the Pump With the Keyboard unlocked, and the pump displaying [OFF] the (d/PROG) button will allow you to step through a menu to set the following parameters in turn. Flow Rate Bolus Size Bolus Time Interval Bolus Number/24hr Syringe Partial Volume

Setting Procedure Press the (d/PROG) button to select the setting. Use the (+) or (-) button to select required value. Press the (d/PROG) button to confirm value and select next parameter. OR Press no button for 5 seconds and value will be set. Setting Limitations Flow rate Bolus Dose Bolus Interval Bolus Number Partial Volume
0.00 to 5.00ml/hr in increments from 0.01 to 0.05 ml 0.00 to 0.99ml in increments of .022ml 5 mins to 24 hours Set 0 time for no limit [no.LT] on Screen) 1 to 24 per 24 Hour. Set value to 0 to prohibit all bolus doses. 1ml to 20ml in increments of 1ml (Reset when battery is replaced)
Review Settings When the keyboard is locked, and the pump is [OFF] pressing the (d/PROG) button will allow you to step through and read all the set values in turn. With the pump infusing pressing the (-) button will allow you to see in sequence: Bolus Dose Delivered (d), Flow Rate Delivery (F) and Total Infused (t) for the current infusion.
