TTET 200 Traction Table Increasing Tension
The Tension Screw controls the resistance of the cushions on the table.
Unlocking the Table
To adjust the tension of the brake plunger against the cushion, unlock the table so that the Locking Knob is not straight up.
Turn the Locking Knob either clockwise or counter clockwise until the table’s foot section moves freely.
Hold the plunger securely with one hand, and with the other hand, turn the Tension Screw counter clockwise. The plunger will adjust outward.
Sliding Sections Slide the sections apart and adjust as necessary.
Re-lock the table (so that the Locking Knob is straight up). If the foot section is secure, the adjustment is complete. If there is still some “play” in the foot section, repeat the steps listed above.
Locking Sections Turn the Locking Knob so that the knob indication label is straight up to lock the traction table and begin the traction therapy. NOTE: Always make certain that the sections are locked before moving a patient on or off of the table. 8
