General Surgery Tower This quick user guide includes instruction on the basic set up procedure of the 3DHD General Surgery Tower

Turn On Tower 1.1

Ensure the Cart is plugged into Mains Power.

Turn on each of the device consoles, by pushing the power button.

Using touchscreen, enter Username & Password, Log on to Medicap, Enter patient details

Set the Insufflator to the correct procedure type and parameters, and ensure CO2 supply is connected.

Provide 3D Glasses to Surgical team prior to scrub in.

Plug Camera paddle into receptacle.

4 Insert Light Guide into receptacle Once the Camera and Light Guide are connected to the Scope perform White Balance by pressing the “White” button on the Camera. Alternatively this can be done by pressing the White Balance button on the camera console.

Connect other relevant accessories to the corresponding consoles. (i.e. Insufflator Tubing set)

Procedure Completed Disconnect all accessories plugged into consoles (i.e. Camera, Light Guide, etc.).

System Shut Down Turn off each of the device consoles, by pushing the power button. 2
