MOUNTING THE ALLY UPS
Mounting The ALLY UPS – Position patient’s buttocks over the edge of the table – Place legs in stirrups – Lower or remove foot end of table – Install the rail clamp and align/adjust along side stirrups Install ALLY UPS rail clamp utilizing the slots in the rail.
Move the clamp to the right, towards the rail clamp for the stirrups, away from the slots in the rail. Lift the ALLY UPS at the blue handle and the base of the arm and attached to rail clamp.

Readying the Console READYING THE CONSOLE
Attach the power cord to the main unit. Use an extension cord if necessary – only use a hospital-grade grounding type attachment plug (cord rated at 125V, 10 AMP). Position the foot pedal on the floor at the side of patient or between patient's legs.
Turn power on – green indicator light confirms power is on.
Hold the end of the arm and press down on the foot pedal and move the UPS flexible arm out of the way prior to patient preparation.

Attaching The Adapter Drape
ATTACHING THE ADAPTER DRAPE
– Prep the patient nce prep is complete, snap O the ALLY UPS Adapter Drape into place on the ALLY UPS.
Grasp both drape tabs and pull down to cover the flexible arm.
Slide the attached drape around the blue elbow until you get to the main unit.

Attaching the Manipulator Handle Open the latch on the Adapter Drape.

Rotate adapter so that the handle of the manipulator matches the direction of the manipulator handle.
If the RUMI® manipulator is intended to be used, continue to Page 6.
If the Advincula Arch™ manipulator is intended to be used, continue to Page 7.

Attaching The RUMI After attachment, the rivet on the bottom of the handle must reside in the hole of the adapter.

Once the manipulator is in the patient, connect the adapter and close it by snapping the latch in place.
Closed position.

Attaching the Advincula Arch After attachment, the hole in the bottom of the handle must reside on the corresponding stem in the adapter.
Once the manipulator is in the patient, connect the adapter and close it by snapping the latch in place.
Closed position.

Powering Down and Removal of ALLY UPS Removing the Adapter Drape Detach the manipulator from the Adapter Drape by opening the latch.
POWERING DOWN AND REMOVAL OF ALLY UPS
etach the adapter by squeezing the D pinch clips together while lifting the adapter upward. Remove the Adapter Drape and dispose of properly.
Powering Down the ALLY UPS Press the foot pedal while powering down so that the arm remains in its flexible state when dismounting and storing. Turn off the power and unplug from the wall outlet. F ully loosen the knob on the rail clamp. Lift the ALLY UPS out of the rail clamp and place it in the cart. The ALLY UPS should only be held by the blue handle and blue elbow. Remove the rail clamp and store it in the cart.
