Training Guide Model 3000 Pump Primary Operation Invert the 3-chambered cassette and prime the set. Hang solution so the bottom of the drip chamber is at least 6-12 inches above the pump. Open the door. Place cassette in pump with flat side facing you. Slide Safety Clip up and insert into slot. Close the door. Open the roller clamp.

RATE: Enter desired rate.
SILENCE: Press Silence to OR HOLD: Press Hold to turn turn off alarm. Alarm will off alarm and stop pump. re-occur after 6 minutes.

When volume to be infused reaches zero, pump automatically switches to KVO rate.
OTHER PUMP FUNCTIONS
Total Volume
Occlusion Alarm Setting
Keeps total of all infusions until cleared.
Medium setting is automatic. Select high or low setting if instructed.

Over for Secondary Operation
Training Guide Model 3000 Pump Secondary Operation If using pump for automatic piggybacking, the primary line must have a check valve set. The pump is running on primary. Using an 8-inch hanger, lower the primary bag. The primary drip chamber must be 6-12 inches above pump (raise pole if necessary). Elevate the secondary bag.

When secondary Volume to be Infused reaches zero, an audible alert sounds briefly and primary flow resumes at programmed primary settings.
