2.1
Intended use
The Halux N30-1 P S0 luminaire is a task luminaire that may be used as single workplace lighting in clinical areas and healthcare buildings in direct patient environments.

Fastening instructions DANGER
Danger from luminaire falling down The luminaire may tip over or fall down if not fastened correctly Mount the luminaire by means of suitable tools at the selected mounting surface to ensure that it cannot fall down. Route the cable so that it cannot be damaged. Verify any mode of fastening that differs from the manufacturer's recommendation for reliability. Type 1 / 2

Location of use DANGER
Explosion hazard
The luminaire must not be used in explosion hazard rooms.
Only dry rooms without explosion hazards are suitable.
The luminaires feature a 13 mm adapter pin that is compatible with the Dräger retaining systems RS8607019 and RS8604126. Supplied with a pre-assembled standard rail catch.
Electrical connection
Type 1
Connect the luminaire with the wall power supply and plug into the socket provided for the luminaire. Type 2 / 3 Connect the luminaire cable with the adaptor and plug into the socket provided at the end device.

Safety
Connect the luminaire only to supply outlets and operate it only with equipment that is intended and provided for the luminaire. Check before commissioning whether the connection voltage matches the rated voltage specified on the rating plate. Do not pull the wall power supply or the supply line out of the socket by the cable. The user must follow the requirements of the national competent bodies for hygiene and disinfection. Risk: transmission of diseases. The light source of this luminaire cannot be replaced. The complete luminaire must be disposed of if the light source is defective. The outer flexible cable of this luminaire cannot be replaced. The complete luminaire must be disposed of in the event of damage.
Do not plug in a damaged cable/wall power supply. If the cable/wall power supply shows signs of damage, immediately replace it with a new one. The connection voltage and frequency must match the data on the type plate.
CAUTION Possible damage of the flexible arm
Kinks or small radii can damage the flexible arm. Radii that are too small or kinking of the flexible arm must be avoided. Sharp bends, approx. 90° on the connecting piece, are not allowed. Parking positions shown below are not allowed.
CAUTION Material damage due to incorrect cleaning
For cleaning, use only products that do not impair the function of the luminaire.

The luminaire may blind the patients. Do not point the luminaire toward the patient. The luminaire and parts connected to it must not be touched at the same time of having contact with the patient.
Operation
Pull the plug from the socket before the inspection. Maintenance and repairs can be performed only by qualified electricians.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If the luminaire does not light, first check that the power cable is plugged in and that the outlet is live. If the LED lamp still does not light, contact your distributor.

Before disinfection cleaning, switch off the power connection and secure against unintentional activation.
DISPOSAL Do not discard the luminaire with household waste. Follow local regulations and bring the luminaire to a disposal site or give it to a dealer with appropriate service. Cut the cable directly at the casing. The products listed above are over 95% recyclable. For a high percentage of the used materials to be either physically reused or used for energy after the end of this product’s life cycle, the luminaires have been designed with recycling in mind. They do not contain materials that are hazardous or require monitoring.
