ULTRASOUND IMAGING QUICK REFERENCE The EchoNous System is for non-invasive imaging of the human body and is intended for the following applications: Abdominal, Musculoskeletal, Pediatric, and Prostate. Users must have ultrasound training for these applications.  Refer to user manual before use. Caution: Federal (USA) law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician.  1  STARTING AN ULTRASOUND SCAN • Tap Ultrasound Imaging to begin an exam.  2  SELECTING PRESETS • Tap the Scan Preset Menu to change the Scan Preset.  3  STARTING A SCAN Stand on the patient’s right hand side. Place the Probe on the patient with the probe orientation marker on the patient’s right for transverse scans and towards the head for sagittal or coronal scans. Tap the Scan button to start (unfreeze) and stop (freeze) scans. Note: Patient details may be required before or after an exam.
