Elekta Neuromag DATA ACQUISITION 2. Go to the directory containing the source files within volume A. 3. Drag the files to be copied onto the icon of volume B. The copying operation creates the directory tree for the destination files automatically. At present, you cannot copy entire directory trees. If one of the files you drag is a directory, it is skipped. Note: If you drag an icon from a window displaying data from a volume to a window displaying in another volume, the file is moved instead of being copied. You can copy a file by holding the control key down before you start moving the icon. 7.2.5. Initializing MOD's To initialize or reinitialize a MOD perform the following steps. Note that the re-initialization irreversibly destroys all information on the disk. 1. Insert the disk into the magneto-optical disk drive. The drives are labelled with the volume names. 2. Drag the volume icon corresponding to the MOD on top of the InitVolume icon or Double click the InitVolume icon and enter the volume name to the dialog that appears. It is recommended that you initialize both sides of a MOD under the same session. If the MOD you inserted is already initialized you are asked whether you want to reinitialize it. Just before starting the initialization InitVolume asks for a final confirmation. Note: Due to a bug in HP-UX the system may crash if you attempt to mount a MOD during initialization. 7.3. Listing the contents of a volume The CatalogVolume icon provides access to a script to compile a full or a partial table of contents of a volume either to a terminal window or to a printer. To produce the listing, drag the volume icon corresponding to the volumeMOD on top of the CatalogVolume icon. You will be asked a series of questions regarding the type of listing you want to produce. NM23065A Managing data volumes 55
