Multiple Computers CPAP Studies Sheet Templates Customizing Reports

When running RemLogic™ and RemLogic-E™ on multiple computers, ensure all are running the same program version. To verify the program version, select Help | About from the application main menu. For CPAP studies without the ResMed AutoSet, remember to clear the AutoSet check box when preparing the study in the Recording Wizard. Sheet templates are customizable, reusable, pre-designed layouts for viewing recordings. To save modifications to a template, right-click the sheet tab (located at the bottom of the sheet) > Select Update Template. Reports can be customized to hide/display report sections, modify axes and graphical display. To customize a report, select Analysis | Settings from the application main menu > Select Custom from the Profile drop-down list > Expand the Reports Graphs and Report Sections nodes > Select an item to display the value table > Double-click the appropriate cell in the Value column to modify the value.

Analyzing XFlow

The XFlow parameter is available for studies used with XactTrace™ respiratory belts. XFlow, a calculated parameter, represents true flow. The Respiration Analyzer analyzes the XFlow signal similarly to the regular flow signal from the nasal cannula. To use the XFlow in place of the nasal cannula signal, select Analysis | Settings from the application main menu > From the Profile drop-down list, select Custom > Expand the Apnea/Hypopnea node > Select Apnea or Hypopnea to display the value table > Double-click the cell in the Value column corresponding to the parameter Select Trace Automatically > Select No.

The Embletta Gold comes equipped with a rechargeable battery and recharger. When fully charged, the Embletta Gold will record for a minimum of 24 hours. When the Embletta Gold is programmed for use with RemLogic-E, the charge status is verified automatically and displayed in the Recording Wizard.

Numerous SPO2 trace artifacts may indicate a faulty oximeter probe. Replace the component to verify. Failure to receive oximeter data may indicate a faulty connection. Verify the connection and check the oximeter. Use the Embletta Gold XactTrace EKG – X30 Extension Package. Record a 1-channel EKG signal in addition to standard Embletta Gold parameters. Select EMG on the channel configuration screen. Record limb movement activity for the diagnosis of Periodic Limb Movement (PLM) in addition to standard Embletta Gold parameters. Select EEG on the channel configuration screen. Record 1 channel of EEG in addition to standard Embletta Gold parameters. For online studies, use only the Embletta 3-in-1 cable.
