Warning: The following quick reference guide will only be used by staff who have been trained and found competent in the operation and use of the AquaC UNO H system. This guide does not supersede the manufacturer’s instruction for use, which must be referred to for the safe and effective operation of the system. Document information is gathered below on the “Operational Data Acquisition/Daily Report AquaC UNO H” unless otherwise indicated or as directed by company policy.

System Start-Up and Operation 1. Connect RO system to water, drain, and plug electrical cord into an appropriate outlet. 2. Determine last time system was operated and last disinfection (review log). To view last disinfection recorded by the AquaC UNO H: Press

3. Perform and document a complete 15-minute system rinse prior to each treatment as follows: Press , select “Cleaning,” press , navigate to “Start rinse,” and press rinse of the day, observe and document the system or T1 testing results.

4. At a minimum of once a week, while the system is in rinse, observe and document the Pre-filter Pressure readings on log. 5. Once a week at minimum, while the system is rinsing, complete hardness testing of the system and document the following: • Verify total hardness test strips are not expired. • Obtain a sample of RO feed water and test for total hardness. • Top off salt level in the tank at a minimum of once each operational day. 6. After the 15-minute rinse, complete carbon filtration monitoring in accordance with company policy. Total chlorine must be below 0.1 ppm. If not, do not use the system and contact Technical Support. 7. Place AquaC UNO H in Supply mode: Press and hold
(START) for 3 seconds.
8. Observe and record system “Operational Data.” Complete prior to first treatment of the day: Press , select “Status,” press , then select “Operational Data,” and press Alternately, press the up or down arrow from the Supply mode display.

Document the following on “Operational Data Acquisition/Daily Report AquaC UNO H” Screen 1 of 3: Permeate Conductivity, Feed Water Conductivity, Permeate Temperature, Feed Water Temperature; Screen 2 of 3: Rejection Rate. Interpret as follows: 9. Verify system is free of warnings and alarms and green visual indicator is illuminated = 10. System is now ready for use. Proceed with treatment. 11. After each treatment, the system can be placed in “Standby” as follows: Press and hold

Complete Prior to Each Additional Treatment For additional treatments during the day, please take the following actions: • Rinse system prior to each treatment. • Document system operational data. • Perform total chlorine testing in accordance with company policy.
Complete as Needed Decalcification will be completed as the system indicates and may be required prior to system disinfection. When system indicates, complete decalcification in accordance with IFU, and document on the decalcification report prior to completing system heat disinfection.
Complete at End of Day Avoid interrupting softener regeneration by keeping the water and drain connected for 11 minutes after switching the RO to Standby. If applicable, complete module heat disinfection in accordance with your program protocol and IFU, and document.
