Introduction for Cart Battery
Assembling the Cart Battery
The system supports a Cart Battery as an option. The Cart Battery includes a Big Battery Case and 3 battery packs. The 3 battery packs are installed in the Big Battery Case and they could be replaced independently.
1. Flip down the 2 swell latches on the Big Battery Case.
The Cart Battery acts as an alternative power source, which automatically activates when the AC power fails, or when AC cable is abruptly removed. You can expect up to 120 minutes of battery life supplied onto system on the full charged battery packs (including 3 cart battery packs and 1 console system battery pack).
4. Insert all 3 pieces of battery packs into the Big Battery Case.
NOTE: This Cart Battery is compatible with the Versana Active Advanced Cart which supports the Versana Active system with software R1.1.x.
CAUTION
Dropping of Cart Battery may cause danger.
2. Open the Big Battery Case cover. 3. Loosen the 2 screws by hand and remove battery pack latch. 5. Assemble the Cart Battery in the reverse order of step 1~3.

Removing the Cart Battery
Be sure to lock the wheels before installing the Cart Battery.
1. Flip up the 2 swell latches. 2. Remove Cart Battery by lifting it using folding handle. 3. Install the adapter holder or accessory tray to the cart with both hands.
1. Remove the adapter holder or accessory tray with both hands. 2. Flip up the 2 swell latches on the Big Battery Case. 3. Lift Cart Battery using folding handle and insert Cart Battery onto the cart. 4. Turn over the folding handle and flip down the 2 swell latches.
CAUTION
Versana Active
Avoid head injury from the cart when removing the Cart Battery.

NOTE: When the AC power is ON, the LED indicators on the Cart Battery will automatically display remaining battery capacity. When the AC power fails or the AC cable is abruptly pulled out, you should press the Power Key on the Cart Battery to show the remaining capacity of the Cart Battery. In this case, the light of the LED indicators will only last for 4~5 seconds to conserve the battery power.

View Cart Battery Status
Cart Battery Power Low Warning (continued)
When the Cart Battery is being charged through the console, the Battery Status window shows the current capacity (charging).
When the estimated current power remaining time is 1 minute, the Error message appears on the screen to warn that the system will be shut down in 1 minute.
Select the battery icon and the following Big Battery Information window appears. NOTE: When the big battery power is low and the user has not charged the Cart Battery in time, the system automatically shuts down in 1 minute. This protects the whole system. You need to charge the Cart Battery immediately before the system shuts down or you may lose useful information.
Cart Battery Care and Maintenance •
NOTE: In the Current column, a positive number means the corresponding battery pack is charging, and a negative number means the corresponding battery pack is discharging.
For long-term storages (3 months or more): •
Fully charge the Cart Battery before storage.
•
Store the Cart Battery in a temperature range between 0°C (32°F) and 45°C (113°F).
•
Fully charge the Cart Battery every 3 months.
•
Fully charge before using the Cart Battery.
NOTE: The value in Cycle Count means the number of a full charge and discharge for the corresponding battery pack.
Cart Battery Power Low Warning If the Cart Battery is in use and the Cart Battery power is low, a warning message appears to warn the user that the big battery power is low and it needs to be charged. The warning message in red will continually appears on status bar at the bottom of the screen.
