Quick Guide – GH3+ Class III Scale
Resetting the scale Turn on hoist by pressing any key on the hoist’s hand control.
Menu
Select “menu” to choose the weighing function. When selecting display functions, use the function buttons below the display.

When the “Scale Class III” icon is shown in the display, press “Start”

When the display shows “0.0” the lifting sling can be mounted on the lifting hanger. Let the hanger and sling hang freely and remember not to pull on the hand control cord. This will affect the weighing. When “kg” is shown in the display, the scale is ready to be reset. This is done by selecting “Tare”

Three dashes will flash until the scale finds its zero point.

“0.0” is shown once again in the display, and “net” appears under “kg”. The scale is now ready to weigh the patient.
Weighing Ensure the scale is reset correctly before weighing (see previous section). Remove the lifting sling from the hanger. Once the user has been placed into the lifting sling, mount it back onto the lifting hanger. Lift the patient.

The Class III scale works in two weighing areas- W1 and W2. The specific weighing area is shown on the display.
W1 displays weights up to 200 kg with an uncertainty of 100 g while W2 displays weights over 200 kg with an uncertainty of 200 g.
