Warning: All system components (supply unit, keyboard, headset etc.) except for the camera head and light cables are not parts to be used on the patient and must therefore not come into contact with the patient or be placed in the proximity of the patient.

Entnehmen Sie den GASTRO PACK™ und das Zubehör vorsichtig der Verpackung. Überprüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf eventuelle Beschädigungen. Sollte die Lieferung Anlaß zur Reklamation geben, so wenden Sie sich bitte umgehend an den Hersteller oder Lieferanten. Wenn möglich, bewahren Sie die Originalverpackung auf, sie kann bei einem Transport des Gerätes nützlich sein.

Carefully unpack the GASTRO PACK™ and remove the unit and its accessories from their packaging. Check for missing items and evidence of shipping damage. File any complaints with the manufacturer or supplier immediately. If possible, retain the original packing materials for later use; these can come in handy if the unit has to be transported.

Extraiga cuidadosamente el GASTRO PACK™ y sus accesorios de la caja. Revise si el envío está completo y compruebe posibles averías de transporte. Wasserflasche für Spülung/Insufflation an GASTRO PACK™ anbringen (siehe auch Gebrauchsanweisung des zum Einsatz kommenden Videoendoskops). Warnung: Kontaminationsgefahr! Um Rückfluss von Wasser in das Gerät zu vermeiden, muss die Wasserflasche in der dafür vorgesehenen Halterung fixiert werden. Die gefüllte Wasserflasche darf nicht auf den Kopf gestellt oder auf ein höheres Niveau als das Gerät gebracht werden.

Connect the water bottle for irrigation/insufflation to the GASTRO PACK™ (also refer to the instruction manual of the videoscope to be used). Warning: Risk of contamination! To prevent water from flowing back into the unit, the water bottle must be placed in the holder intended for this purpose. The filled water bottle must not be turned upside down or positioned higher than the unit.

Warning: Danger of glare! Never look into the light outlet of the GASTRO PACK™ light adaptor or into the distal end of the connected videoscope when the light system is switched on.

Insufflation Insufflationspumpe einschalten. Zum Einschalten der Insufflationspumpe den Wipptaster bl nach oben drücken (unterste LED der Druckstufenanzeige leuchtet grün). Warnung: Zur Vermeidung von Embolien Insufflationen nur im physiologischen Rahmen durchführen.

Insufflation Turn the insufflation pump on. To turn the insufflation pump on, press the rocker switch bl upward (the bottom LED of the pressure level display lights up green). Warning: To avoid embolisms, only perform insufflation within physiological limits.

Insuflación Conecte la bomba de insuflación. Presione a tal efecto el pulsador basculante bl hacia arriba (el diodo luminoso inferior del indicador de fases de presión se enciende de color verde). Cuidado: Para evitar posibles embolias, aplique insuflaciones exclusivamente dentro de los valores fisiológicos.

Hinweis: Die Insufflationspumpe kann - abhängig vom eingesetzten Videoendoskop - zur Luftinsufflation und/oder Wasserspülung eingesetzt werden. Le rogamos tener en cuenta el Manual de instrucciones del videoendoscopio que se va a utilizar. Pumpenleistung ändern Standardmäßig ist beim Einschalten des GASTRO PACK ™ die Pumpe ausgeschaltet. Changing the pump capacity As standard the pump is off when the GASTRO PACK ™ is switched on. The pump capacity is changed as below when the rocker switch bl is pressed upward several times: Level 0 -> 1 -> 2 -> 3. Each time the rocker switch bl is pressed downward, the pump capacity is reduced by one level.

‘The water supply and/or lens cleaning are activated by pressing the air/water valve on the videoscope. The different valve settings provide for various combinations.’ IMPORTANT: Only use water bottles that are two thirds full (one third is required for the air pressure cushion).

Durch den Weißabgleich wird die Farbwiedergabe des Kamerasystems der Farbtemperatur der verwendeten Lichtquelle angepaßt.

The chrominance of the camera system is adapted to the light source color temperature using the white balance.

Mediante la compensación de blancos, la reproducción de color del sistema de cámara se ajusta a la temperatura de color de la fuente de luz utilizada.

Hinweis: Der Weißabgleich bleibt beim Ausschalten des Versorgungsgerätes gespeichert. Bei Wiederinbetriebnahme ist ein neuer Weißabgleich nur dann notwendig, wenn eine andere Lichtquelle, ein anderes Videoendoskop oder ein anderes Lichtkabel verwendet wird.

Note: The white balance remains stored when the supply unit is switched off. When the unit is switched on again a new white balance is only necessary if a different light source, videoscope or light cable is being used.

Neues V er zeichnis anlegen: Ver erzeichnis NEU auswählen und Bestätigen. Am Bildschirm erscheint ein Feld für den Namen des neuen Verzeichnisses. Geben Sie den Namen (maximal 11 alphanumerische Zeichen) des neuen Verzeichnisses an der Tastatur ein und bestätigen Sie die Eingabe. Das neue Verzeichnis wird angelegt.

Cr eate new dir ector y: Create director ectory: Select NEW and confirm. A field for the name of the new directory appears on the screen. Enter the name (up to 11 alphanumeric characters) of the new directory on the keyboard and confirm the entry. The new directory is now created.

Generar un dir ectorio nuevo: directorio Seleccione NUEVO y confirme. En la pantalla aparece un campo para ingresar el nombre del nuevo directorio. Ingrese el nombre (11 caracteres alfanuméricos como máximo) del nuevo directorio con el teclado y confirme el ingreso. El nuevo directorio se crea ahora.

Das zu löschende Verzeichnis auswählen. Unten am Bildschirm erscheint das Menü: LÖSCHEN. Dieses anwählen und bestätigen. Am Bildschirm erscheint eine Abfrage ob das Verzeichnis wirklich gelöscht werden soll. JA auswählen und bestätigen. Damit ist das Verzeichnis gelöscht.

Select the directory to be deleted. The DELETE menu appears at the bottom of the screen. Select this and confirm. A prompt appears on the screen asking you whether you really wish to delete the directory. Select YES and confirm. The directory is now deleted.
