Einschaltprüfung Die Einschaltprüfung (Selbstprüfung) wird bei jedem Einschalten des Geräts durchgeführt. Fällt diese Prüfung negativ aus, so kann das CLEARVISION®|II nicht gestartet werden. Das Gerät gibt akustisch eine Fehlermeldung aus (siehe unten).

Power-up test The power-up test (self-test procedure) is carried out every time the device is powered up. If this test turns out negative, the CLEARVISION® II cannot be started. The device emits an acoustic error signal (see below).

Operating test If the device detects an error during operation, the software switches the device to error status, emitting an acoustic error signal.

The unit is equipped with a connector 햹 for attaching a ground line. The unit’s ground line should be installed by a qualified electrician.

WARNING: Before connecting the unit to the electrical supply lines, verify that the line voltage stated on the unit’s identification plate agrees with that of the electrical supply lines to be used.

VORSICHT: Bei perforiertem Pumpenschlauch besteht die Gefahr, dass Flüssigkeit in das Gerät eindringt! Pumpenschlauch in die Rollenpumpe einlegen und die beiden Konnektoren in die Befestigungsnuten eindrücken. HINWEIS: Lassen sich die Konnektoren nicht in die Befestigungsnuten drücken, wurden diese nicht korrekt auf den Schlauch geschoben. Ggf. Konnektoren in Richtung Pumpenschlauch ganz aufschieben. HINWEIS: Da der Pumpenschlauch aufgrund anwendungsbedingter Abnutzung undicht werden kann, empfehlen wir den Schlauch nach 5|Anwendungen oder max. 8 h Betriebszeit auszuwechseln. (Bestell-Nr. 40 3341 80, Packung zu 25 Stück)

Hebel zum Einfahren der Pumpenrollen 햵 in senkrechte Lage hochdrücken, der Pumpenschlauch wird arretiert. HINWEIS: Ohne arretierten Pumpenschlauch kann die Pumpe nicht gestartet werden

Raise the pump reel lever 햵 to the vertical position to lock the pump tube.

If the pump tube is not locked in 1 NOTE: place the pump cannot be started.

Schlauchset entnehmen Hebel 햵 in die Waagerechte nach unten klappen. Pumpenschlauch aus der Rollenpumpe entnehmen.

Removing the tubing set Press lever 햵 down to the horizontal position. Remove the pump tube from the reel pump.

Der Zulaufschlauch des Silikon-Schlauchsets 40 3341 40 (siehe Pfeil) ist mit einem Einstichdorn und einer Schlauchklemme versehen. Schlauchklemme schließen. Einstichdorn in die dafür vorgesehene Stelle am Spülbeutel oder Spülflasche einstechen. HINWEIS: Falls eine Spülflasche verwendet wird, darauf achten, dass die Flasche belüftet wird, da sonst die Spülleistung nachlässt.

The inflow tube of the silicone tubing set 40 3341 40 is equipped with a puncturing pin and a tube clamp (see arrow). Close the tube clamp. Insert a piercing punch into the intended position on the irrigation bag or irrigation bottle. NOTE: If an irrigation bottle is used, please ensure that the bottle is aerated. Otherwise irrigation performance decreases.

CAUTION: If the pump tubing is perforated, there is a danger of liquid penetrating the unit! Place the pump tube around the reel and secure the adaptor’s pump tube connectors in the notches. NOTE: If the connectors cannot be pressed into the fastening grooves, they have not been attached correctly to the tube. If necessary, attach the connectors on the pump hose more securely. NOTE: As the pump tube may develop a leak due to application wear, we recommend changing the tube when it has been used 5|times or operated for max. 8|h.

ADVERTENCIA: ¡En caso de perforarse el tubo flexible de la bomba existe el riesgo de que penetre líquido en el aparato! Coloque el tubo flexible de la bomba en la bomba de rodillos y presione ambos conectores en las ranuras de fijación. Presione la palanca para soltar los rodillos de la bomba 햵 hacia arriba hasta su posición vertical, el tubo flexible de la bomba queda bloqueado. NOTA: Sin estar bloqueado el tubo flexible de la bomba, no se puede poner en marcha la misma. Extraer el set de tubos flexibles Presione la palanca 햵 hacia abajo hasta su posición horizontal. Extraiga el tubo flexible de la bomba de rodillos.

El tubo flexible de entrada del set de tubos flexibles de silicona 40 3341 40 está provisto de un punzón y de unas pinzas (véase flecha). Cierre las pinzas del tubo flexible. Introduzca el mandril de punción en la posición prevista en la bolsa o botella de solución de irrigación. NOTA: La botella de irrigación se debe desairear antes de su uso, pues en caso contrario se produciría una disminución de la potencia de irrigación.

Der Zulaufschlauch des Schlauchsets Spülung ist mit einem Einstichdorn und einer Schlauchklemme versehen. Schlauchklemme schließen. Schutzkappe vom Einstichdorn entfernen. Einstichdorn in die dafür vorgesehene Stelle am Spülbeutel oder Spülflasche einstechen.

Disposable irrigation tubing set (mtp tubing sets 031229-10, pack of 10) Insert the tube into the holder. The inflow tube of the tubing set for irrigation has a puncture needle and a tube clamp. Close the tube clamp. Remove the protective cap from the puncture needle. Insert the puncture needle into the intended position on the irrigation bag or irrigation bottle.

To check for leaks use leakage tester 13242 XL for example. For this purpose connect one end to the leakage tester and block off the other end, with your finger for example. If the tubing set develops a leak, a pressure drop will be observed on the pressure gauge of the leakage tester.

De este modo puede descubrirse a tiempo cualquier perforación, por la que podría salir líquido e infiltrarse en el equipo. Das fraktionierte Vorvakuumverfahren besteht aus vier Phasen. • Konditionierphase In der Konditionierphase wird in der Sterilisierkammer bis zu viermal ein Vakuum erzeugt. Anschließend wird Dampf eingeblasen. • Sterilisierphase Die Sterilisation findet bei einer Temperatur von 134 °C (+3 °C), einem Druck (absolut) von 300 kpa (3 bar) über eine Dauer von 5 Minuten (Mindestzeit) statt. • Evakuierungsphase Der Dampf wird abgelassen. • Trocknungsphase Die Trocknung findet unter Anlegen eines erneuten Vakuums über eine Dauer von ca.|5–8|Min. statt.

The fractionated prevacuum procedure consists of four phases. • Conditioning phase The conditioning phase removes air from the|chamber by pulling a vacuum up to four times. Steam is then blown in. • Sterilization phase Sterilization takes place at a temperature of|134°C (+3°C) and an pressure (absolute) of 300 kpa (3 bar) over a period of 5 minutes (minimum time). • Evacuation phase The steam is released. • Drying phase Drying takes place under renewed application of a vacuum over a period of approx. 5–8 minutes.

Important information

In order to prevent infection, it is strictly forbidden to ship contaminated medical devices. All medical devices must be decontaminated on site, to avoid contact and aerogenous infections (among staff). We reserve the right to return contaminated instruments/equipment to the sender. Repairs, changes or expansions which are not carried out by KARL|STORZ or by experts authorized by KARL|STORZ will invalidate all guarantee rights. KARL|STORZ gives no guarantee on the correct functioning of equipment or instruments which have been repaired by unauthorized third parties.

Auf Anfrage stellt der Hersteller ihm verfügbare Schaltpläne, ausführliche Ersatzteillisten, Beschreibungen, Einstellanweisungen und andere Unterlagen bereit, die dem entsprechend qualifizierten und vom Hersteller autorisierten Personal des Anwenders beim Reparieren von Geräteteilen, die vom Hersteller als reparierbar bezeichnet werden, von Nutzen sind. Das Verfügen über technische Unterlagen zum Gerät stellt auch für technisch geschultes Personal keine Autorisierung durch den Hersteller zum Öffnen oder Reparieren des Gerätes dar. Ausgenommen sind im Text der vorliegenden Gebrauchsanweisung beschriebene Eingriffe.

On request, the manufacturer will provide those circuit diagrams, itemized parts listings, descriptions, sets of adjustment instructions, and other items of available documentation to suitably qualified user personnel duly authorized by the manufacturer for their use in repairing those components of the unit that have been designated by their respective manufacturers as repairable. Supply of such technical documentation relating to the unit shall not be construed as constituting manufacturer’s authorization of user’s personnel, regardless of their level of technical training, to open or repair the unit. Explicitly exempted herefrom are those maintenance and repair operations described in this manual.
