Das Gerät ist mit einer Steckvorrichtung für den Potentialausgleich ausgerüstet. Lassen Sie die Erdung ggf. durch sachkundiges Personal durchführen.

The unit is equipped with a connector for attaching a ground line. The unit’s ground line should be installed by aqualified electrician.

El equipo está provisto de una conexión equipotencial . Es recomendable que la conexión a tierra sea efectuada por un técnico experto en la materia.

Gerät auf eine ebene Fläche stellen. Gegebenenfalls die Flaschenhalterung an die Geräteseite anschrauben.

Set the unit on a flat surface. If a bottle holder is used, screw it onto the side of the unit.

Coloque el aparato sobre una superficie plana. Si se utiliza un soporte para botellas, enrosque dicho soporte en la parte lateral del aparato.

Netzsicherungshalter entnehmen und Spannungswahlmodul herausziehen. Das Wahlmodul so in den Netzsicherungshalter einsetzen, dass die im Sichtfenster an der Rückseite angezeigte Netzspannung mit der lokalen Spannungsversorgung übereinstimmt.

Remove power fuse holder and withdraw voltage preselection module. Insert voltage preselection module into power fuse holder so that the mains voltage indicated in the window atthe back of the power fuse holder agrees with the local voltage supply.

Retire el portafusibles de la red y extraiga el módulo selector de tensión. El módulo selector de tensión hay que colocarlo en el portafusibles, de modo tal que en la mirilla de la parte posterior del portafusibles aparezca la tensión de la red coincidente con la tensión de la corriente suministrada localmente.

Place the reusable tubing in a container filled with a cleaning solution (as per the manufacturer’s instructions) immediately after use to prevent contaminants from drying on the surface of the tubing set.

Wiederverwendbare Schläuche ggf. an den Konnektoren trennen und in eine Reinigungslösung (gemäß Chemikalienherstellervorschrift) eintauchen. Unter der (Wasser-)Oberfläche die Schläuche mit Hilfe einer Spritze durchspülen. Vorgang ggf. mehrmals wiederholen. Verunreinigungen mit desinfizierten Bürsten/Schwämmen, weichen flusenarmen Einmaltüchern oder Wattestab entfernen. Reinigungszubehör ist bei KARLSTORZ erhältlich (siehe Katalog). Nach der Reinigung die Schläuche abspülen und in ein geeignetes Behältnis mit Desinfektionsmittellösung geben. Während der Einwirkzeit ist darauf zu achten, dass die Schläuche vollständig mit der Lösung benetzt sind.

Disconnect the reusable tubing from the connectors as necessary and then immerse it in a cleaning solution (made up according to the instructions provided by the chemical manufacturer). Using a syringe, rinse out the tubing under neath the (water) surface. Repeat the procedure as many times as necessary. Remove soiling with disinfected brushes/sponges, soft, low-lint disposable cloths or a cotton applicator. Cleaning accessories are available from KARLSTORZ (see catalog). After cleaning, rinse the tubing and place it in a suitable container with disinfectant solution, making sure that all air bubbles have been expelled. Ensure that the tubing is completely covered in the solution for the duration of exposure.

Reinigungsbürsten sind sofort zu reinigen und zu desinfizieren. Die Schläuche nach der Einwirkzeit entnehmen und mit mikrobiologisch einwandfreiem/ sterilem Wasser abspülen. Es muss sichergestellt sein, dass alle Chemikalienrückstände in und auf den Schläuchen beseitigt wurden. Schläuche mit medizinischer Druckluft trocknen. Schläuche nach der Aufbereitung auf Sauberkeit und Beschädigungen prüfen. Sind optische Verunreinigungen vorhanden, ist der Aufbereitungsvorgang zu wiederholen.

Zur maschinellen Aufbereitung sind die wiederverwendbaren Schläuche so an die Aufnahmevorrichtungen anzuschließen, dass eine Durchspülung der Hohlräume gewährleistet ist. Bei optisch starken Verunreinigungen der Schläuche ist eine Vorreinigung vor der maschinellen Aufbereitung erforderlich.

To prepare using a machine, connect the reusable tubing to the retaining mechanisms in such a way that the instrument channels can be completely rinsed through. Visible, heavy soiling must be removed in preliminary cleaning prior to machine preparation.

Das folgende Sterilisationsverfahren wurde von KARLSTORZ validiert: Fraktioniertes Vorvakuumverfahren (Dampfsterilisation) HINWEIS: Verwenden Sie das fraktionierte Vorvakuumverfahren (gemäß DIN EN 550/ ISO11134) unter Berücksichtigung der jeweils national gültigen Anforderungen. WARNUNG: Schlauchsets dürfen nur mit dem fraktionierten Vorvakuumverfahren sterilisiert werden. Die Behälter sind so in den Sterilisator zu stellen, dass eine ausreichende Dampfzirkulation und -durchdringung gegeben ist, sowie die Luft entweichen und das Kondensat abießen kann. Den Sterilisator entsprechend dessen Gebrauchsanweisung beladen. Nach Beendigung der Dampfsterilisation müssen die sterilisierten Teile langsam abkühlen.

Trays should be positioned in the sterilizer so that there is adequate circulation and penetration of steam, air removal and condensate drainage. Load the sterilizer according to its instruction manual. At the completion of the steam sterilization cycle, all instruments should remain untouched until adequately cooled.

Das fraktionierte Vorvakuumverfahren besteht aus vier Phasen. • Konditionierphase In der Konditionierphase wird in der Sterilisierkammer bis zu viermal ein Vakuum erzeugt. Anschließend wird Dampf eingeblasen. • Sterilisierphase Die Sterilisation findet bei einer Temperatur von 134 °C (+3 °C), einem Druck (absolut) von 300 kpa (3 bar) über eine Dauer von 5Minuten (Mindestzeit) statt. • Evakuierungsphase Der Dampf wird abgelassen. • Trocknungsphase Die Trocknung findet unter Anlegen eines erneuten Vakuums über eine Dauer von ca.5-8 Minuten statt.

The fractionated prevacuum procedure consists of four phases. • Conditioning phase The conditioning phase removes air from the chamber by pulling a vacuum up to four times. Steam is then blown in. • Sterilization phase Sterilization takes place at a temperature of 134 °C (+3 °C) and a pressure (absolute) of 300kpa (3 bar) over a period of 5 minutes (minimum time). • Evacuation phase The steam is released. • Drying phase Drying takes place under renewed application of a vacuum over a period of approx. 5-8minutes.

Das Verfügen über technische Unterlagen zum Gerät stellt auch für technisch geschultes Personal keine Autorisierung durch den Hersteller zum Öffnen oder Reparieren des Gerätes dar. Ausgenommen sind im Text der vorliegenden Gebrauchsanweisung beschriebene Eingriffe.

On request, the manufacturer will provide those circuit diagrams, itemized spare parts listings, descriptions, sets of adjustment instructions, and other items of available documentation to suitably qualified user personnel duly authorized by the manufacturer for their use in repairing those components of the instrument that have been designated as reparable by their respective manufacturers. HAMOU®, Lupen mit Fokussierung, IMPERATOR Bohrhandstücke, Prismenscheinwerfer. Bei Motoren und deren Handstücken sind die Angaben in der jeweiligen Gebrauchsanweisung zu beachten. Folgende von KARLSTORZ hergestellte Instrumente sind nicht für eine Ultraschallreinigung geeignet: Starre Optiken, Flexible Optiken, sonstige Instrumente mit optischen Glasbauteilen. Beachten Sie bitte, dass bei der Herstellung und Anwendung der Lösungen die Herstellerangaben über Konzentration und Einwirkungszeit genauestens zu beachten sind. For motors and their handles the appropriate manual provides detailed information. The following instruments produced by KARLSTORZ must not be placed in an ultrasound cleaning bath: rigid telescopes, flexible telescopes, other instruments with optical components made of glass. When preparing and using the solutions, follow the solution manufacturer's instructions, paying close attention to concentration and exposure times. Regarding the microbiological effectiveness please ask the manufacturer. The following cleaning and disinfectant solutions have been approved regarding material compatibility:

Folgende von KARLSTORZ hergestellte Instrumente und Optiken sind nicht für eine komplette maschinelle Aufbereitung geeignet: Optiken mit Okularfokussierung n. HAMOU®, Lupen mit Fokussierung, IMPERATOR Bohrhandstücke, Standard-, Hartmetall- und Diamantbohrer, Prismenscheinwerfer und Magnetrahmen. Bei Motoren und deren Handstücken sind die Angaben in der jeweiligen Gebrauchsanweisung zu beachten. Die Wahl des Verfahrens zur Reinigung und Desinfektion muss in Absprache mit dem Hersteller der Maschine und dem der chemischen Reagenzien erfolgen. Es dürfen nur spezielle Verfahren Verwendung finden, die für diesen Zweck verifiziert worden sind. Bezüglich der mikrobiologischen Wirksamkeit wenden Sie sich bitte an den Hersteller. Die thermische Desinfektion ist zu bevorzugen. Folgende Mittel zur maschinellen Reinigung und Desinfektion sind freigegeben bzgl. der Materialkompatibilität:

The following instruments and telescopes produced by KARLSTORZ must not be prepared in a cleaning and disinfecting machine: HAMOU® telescopes with ocular focusing, magnifiers with focusing, IMPERATOR drill handles, standard, tungsten carbide and diamond-tipped drills, prismatic light deflectors, and magnetic instrument rack. For motors and their handles the appropriate manual provides detailed information. Selection of a method for cleaning and disinfection must be discussed with the machine manufacturer and the manufacturer of the chemical reagents. Only special methods must be used which have been verified for this purpose. Regarding the microbiological effectiveness please ask the manufacturer. Thermal disinfection is preferable. The following agents for machine cleaning and disinfection have been approved regarding material compatibility:
