Entnehmen Sie die ARTHROPUMP® plus und das Zubehör vorsichtig der Verpackung. Überprüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf eventuelle Beschädigungen. Sollte die Lieferung Anlass zur Reklamation geben, so wenden Sie sich bitte umgehend an den Hersteller oder Lieferanten. Wenn möglich, bewahren Sie die Originalverpackung auf, sie kann bei einem Transport des Gerätes nützlich sein.

Carefully unpack the ARTHROPUMP® plus and remove the unit and its accessories from their packaging. Check for missing items and evidence of shipping damage. File any complaints with the manufacturer or supplier immediately. If possible, retain the original packing materials for later use; these can come in handy if the unit has to be transported.

Extraiga cuidadosamente la ARTHROPUMP® plus y sus accesorios de la caja. Revise si el envío está completo y compruebe posibles averías de transporte. The unit is equipped with a potential equalization connector cl for attaching a ground line. The unit’s ground line should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Gerät nur mit der auf dem Typenschild angegebenen Spannung betreiben.

Before connecting the unit to the electrical supply lines, verify that the line voltage stated on the unit’s identification plate agrees with that of the electrical supply lines to be used.

Connect power cord. Insert power cord into power cord receptacle bt as far as it will go.

Fußschalter mit Verbindungskabel an Buchse cp anschließen.

Connect the cable from the footswitch to its mating connector cp on the unit’s rear panel.

Netzschalter 1 einschalten (rote KontrollLeuchte bl leuchtet auf). Das Gerät führt anschließend einen Selbsttest durch, bei dem die verschiedenen Systemkomponenten geprüft werden.

Switch on the unit at its main power switch 1. The red pilot lamp bl will illuminate. The unit will then conduct a self-test procedure, checking all system components for proper operation.

Vorsicht: Die ARTHROPUMP® plus darf ausschließlich mit Schlauchsets und Zubehörteilen betrieben werden, die von KARL STORZ für das Gerät als geeignet bezeichnet werden. Das Schlauchset darf erst eingelegt werden, nachdem das Gerät am Netzschalter 1 eingeschaltet wurde, da sonst bei der Selbstprüfung des Gerätes die Gerätefunktionen blockiert werden.

Caution: The ARTHROPUMP® plus may only be operated with tubing sets and accessories which have been designated as suitable for the unit by KARL STORZ. The tube system must not be inserted until the unit has been switched on at power switch 1. If the tube system is inserted before switching on, the selftest procedure blocks the equipment.

Advertencia: La ARTHROPUMP® plus debe ser utilizada exclusivamente en combinación con los sets de tubos flexibles y las piezas accesorias que hayan sido identificadas como idóneas para este equipo por KARL STORZ. El set de tubos flexibles no debe colocarse antes de haber conectado el aparato al enchufe de red 1, ya que, al realizar la autoverificación el aparato se bloquearía.

Hinweis: Die Selbstprüfung kann umgangen werden, wenn während des Einschaltens gleichzeitig der Fußschalter betätigt wird. Es muss jedoch sichergestellt werden, dass das Gerät mindestens einmal pro Betriebstag eine Selbstprüfung durchführt.

Note: If the footswitch is pressed simultaneously while switching on the power switch, the selftest procedure may be avoided. Make sure the unit performs a self-test procedure at least once every day of operation.

Nota: La autoverificación puede evitarse, accionando el interruptor de pedal al mismo tiempo que se conecta el aparato. Hay que asegurarse también de que el equipo efectúe por lo menos una autoverificación en cada jornada de trabajo.

Zum Einlegen des Schlauchsets Drucktaste zum Einfahren der Pumpenrollen 8 drücken. Die Pumpenrollen springen zurück.

To insert the tubing set, press the pushbutton to release the pump rollers 8. The pump rollers spring back.

Para colocar el tubo flexible de la bomba presionar el botón de desbloqueo 8. Los rodillos de la bomba retroceden.

Hinweis: Die Pumpenschlauchkonnektoren haben unterschiedliche Breiten, so dass der Schlauch nur in einer Richtung eingelegt werden kann.

Note: The pump tube connectors have different widths so the pump tube can be inserted in one direction only.

Schlauchset für Einmalgebrauch Schlauch in die Schlauchhalterung einlegen. Druckmesskammer auf den Druckaufnehmer 9 aufsetzen und im Uhrzeigersinn drehen, bis die Druckmesskammer einrastet (Bajonettverschluss).

Disposable tubing set Place a length of tubing on the tube holder. Position the pressure measuring chamber on the pressure transducer 9 and turn clockwise until the pressure measuring chamber latches (bayonet-lock).

Set de tubos flexibles desechables Coloque el tubo flexible en el soporte. Coloque la cámara de medición de la presión en el registrador manométrico 9 y gire en el sentido de las agujas del reloj hasta que la cámara de medición de la presión encastre (cierre de bayoneta).

Ist das Schlauchset mit der Druckmesskammer korrekt installiert, so wechselt die KontrollLeuchte bl von rot zu grün.

Once the tubing set and pressure measuring chamber have been correctly installed, the pilot lamp bl will switch from red to green.

Si el set de tubos flexibles con la cámara de medición de la presión están correctamente instalados, la lámpara piloto bl cambia del color rojo al verde.

Vorsicht: Leuchtet die Kontroll-Leuchte bl weiterhin rot, so liegt entweder eine Fehlfunktion am Gerät vor oder das Schlauchset wurde falsch eingelegt. Wechselt die Farbe der Kontroll-Leuchte trotz erneutem und richtigem Einlegen des Schlauchsets nicht zu grün, so muss das Gerät vor weiterer Verwendung von einem autorisiertem Techniker geprüft werden.

Caution: If the pilot lamp bl remains red, then either there is a failure somewhere in the unit, or the tubing set has been incorrectly inserted. If the pilot lamp bl fails to switch from red to green after the pressure line has been removed and reinserted, then the unit will have to be checked by an authorized technician before it can be used.

Advertencia: Si la lámpara piloto bl continúa estando roja, puede deberse o bien a que el aparato no funciona correctamente, o bien a que los tubos flexibles de transporte se colocaron de forma errónea. Si a pesar de volver a colocar los tubos flexibles de forma correcta la lámpara piloto bl no se pone verde, no debe continuar utilizándose el aparato hasta que haya sido revisado previamente por un técnico autorizado.

Connect the correct end of the length of tubing to the irrigation liquid bag (penetration fitting), and to the “LUER-lock” irrigation-line fitting on the instrument to be employed.

Una los extremos correspondientes de los tubos flexibles con la bolsa del líquido de irrigación (aguja de punción) y con la conexión de irrigación del instrumento (cierre LUER).

Entriegelungsknopf drücken, bis die Pumpenrollen einfahren. Schlauch aus der Schlauchhalterung entnehmen. Druckmesskammer durch Drehen gegen den Uhrzeigersinn vom Druckaufnehmer lösen und abnehmen.

Press pushbutton to release pump rollers. Remove the tubing from the tube holder. Loosen and detach the pressure measuring chamber from the pressure transducer by turning it counterclockwise.

Apriete el botón de desbloqueo hasta que los rodillos de la bomba se suelten. Extraiga el tubo flexible del soporte. La cámara de medición de la presión hay que separarla del registrador manométrico girando en sentido contrario al de las agujas del reloj.

Anschluss des Saugschlauches Connecting the suction lines Bakterienfilter auf den Vakuum-Anschluss cq der Saugflasche aufstecken und den Saugschlauch anschließend am Filtergehäuse befestigen. Vorsicht: Um eine Kontamination des Gerätes zu vermeiden, muss zwischen Saugflasche und Gerät ein Bakterienfilter geschaltet werden.

Caution: To avoid contaminating the unit a bacterial filter must be fitted between the fluid collection bottle and the unit.

Conexión del tubo flexible de succión Monte el filtro bacteriológico en la conexión de vacío cq de la botella colectora de la succión. Acople el tubo flexible de succión a la caja de filtro. Advertencia: A fin de evitar una contaminación del aparato es preciso instalar un filtro bacteriológico entre la botella colectora de la succión y la conexión del aparato.

Connect the other end of the suction line to fitting bn.

Sauganschluss cr der Saugflasche (siehe Foto) über den Silikon-Saugschlauch mit dem Sauganschluss des Instrumentes verbinden.

Use a length of tubing to interconnect the suction line fitting of the fluid collection bottle cr (see photograph) and the suction line fitting on the instrument to be employed.

Una la conexión de succión cr de la botella colectora de succión (véase ilustración) con la conexión de succión del instrumento, por medio del tubo flexible de silicona para la succión.

Screw the bacterial filter into the vacuum line fitting cq on the suction bottle and attach the suction line to the filter housing.

Hinweis: Da die Einmal-Druckaufnehmer einen Nullpunktfehler aufweisen, muss der Druckaufnehmer manuell abgeglichen werden. Dies ist nach dem Einschalten des Gerätes und nach dem Einsatz eines neuen Druckaufnehmers notwendig.

Note: Since the disposable pressure transducer displays a zero error, it must be adjusted manually. This is necessary after switching on the unit and after inserting a new pressure transducer.

Nota: Dado que los registradores manométricos externos desechables muestran una desviación residual, es preciso ajustar manualmente el registrador manométrico. Esto resulta necesario tras la conexión del aparato y tras el empleo de un nuevo registrador manométrico.

Containers should be positioned in the sterilizer so that there is adequate circulation and penetration of steam, air removal and condensate drainage. Load the sterilizer according to its instruction manual. At the completion of the steam sterilization cycle, all instruments should remain untouched until adequately cooled.

HAMOU, Lupen mit Fokussierung, Motoren und deren Handstücke, IMPERATOR Bohrhandstücke, Prismenscheinwerfer. Folgende von KARL STORZ hergestellte Instrumente sind nicht für eine Ultraschallreinigung geeignet: Starre Optiken, Flexible Optiken, sonstige Instrumente mit optischen Glasbauteilen. Beachten Sie bitte, dass bei der Herstellung und Anwendung der Lösungen die Herstellerangaben über Mischungsverhältnis und Einlegedauer genauestens zu beachten sind. Bezüglich der mikrobiologischen Wirksamkeit wenden Sie sich bitte an den Hersteller. Folgende Mittel sind von KARL STORZ freigegeben bzgl. der Materialkompatibilität:

The following instruments and telescopes produced by KARL STORZ must not be fully immersed in a liquid: HAMOU telescopes with ocular focusing, magnifiers with focusing, motors and their handles, IMPERATOR drill handles, prismatic light deflectors. The following instruments produced by KARL STORZ must not be placed in an ultrasound cleaning bath: rigid telescopes, flexible telescopes, other instruments with optical components made of glass. When preparing and using the solutions, follow the solution manufacturer's instructions, paying close attention to proper dilution and recommended immersion times. Regarding the microbiological effectiveness please ask the manufacturer. The following cleaning and disinfectant solutions have been approved regarding material compatibility:
