Entnehmen Sie den ENDOMAT® LC und das Zubehör vorsichtig der Verpackung. Überprüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf eventuelle Beschädigungen. Sollte die Lieferung Anlass zur Reklamation geben, so wenden Sie sich bitte umgehend an den Hersteller oder Lieferanten. Wenn möglich, bewahren Sie die Originalverpackung auf, sie kann bei einem Transport des Gerätes nützlich sein.

Carefully unpack the ENDOMAT® LC and remove the unit and its accessories from their packaging. Check for missing items and evidence of shipping damage. File any complaints with the manufacturer or supplier immediately. If possible, retain the original packing materials for later use; these can come in handy if the unit has to be transported.

Hinweis: Um ein versehentliches Herausziehen des SCB-Verbindungskabels zu verhindern, besitzt der SCB-Stecker eine Schutzvorrichtung. Die Schutzvorrichtung des SCB-Steckers zurückziehen und den Stecker in eine der SCB-Buchsen : einstecken. Das andere Ende des Kabels mit einem KARL STORZ SCB-Steuergerät (KARL STORZ Communication Bus) oder weiteren SCB-Geräten verbinden (siehe hierzu Gebrauchsanweisung KARL STORZ SCB System).

Note: To avoid mistakenly pulling out the SCB connecting cable, the SCB connector possesses a protection device. Pull back the protection device of the SCB connector and insert the connector into one of the SCB sockets :.

Netzschalter / einschalten. Das Gerät führt anschließend einen Selbsttest durch, bei dem die verschiedenen Systemkomponenten geprüft werden. Der Sollwert für den Flow wird blinkend dargestellt (Digitalanzeige 0). Hinweis: Nach dem Einschalten ‚erwartet‘ das Gerät die Bestätigung oder Änderung des zuletzt benutzten Sollwertes. Dieser wird blinkend angezeigt. Die LED in der START/STOP-Taste 5 blinkt ebenfalls. Solange die Anzeigen blinken, kann die Pumpe nicht gestartet werden.

Switch on the power switch /. The unit will then conduct a self-test, checking all system components for proper operation. The flow rate setpoint will flash on the digital display 0.

Note: Once switched on, the unit awaits confirmation or a change of the last setpoints used. This is signalled by the last setpoint used flashing in the digital display 0. The LED in the START/STOP button 5 also flashes. As long as the displays are flashing, the START function is blocked.

ENDOMAT® LC als Spülpumpe betreiben Der Zulaufschlauch des Silikon-Schlauchset Spülung ist mit einem Einstichdorn und einer Schlauchklemme versehen. Schlauchklemme schließen. Einstichdorn in den Spülflüssigkeitsbeutel einstechen.

Using the ENDOMAT® LC as an irrigation pump The inflow tube of the silicone tubing set for irrigation is equipped with a puncturing pin and a tube clamp. Close the tube clamp. Insert the puncturing pin into the irrigation-liquid bag.

Connect the free end of the outflow tube (see arrow) to the LUER-lock connector on the instrument.

Insert the tubing into the holder.

Connect the end of the tube with the puncturing pin to the irrigation-liquid bag, and the end with the LUER-lock connector to the irrigation connection on the instrument.

ENDOMAT® LC como bomba de succión

Saugflasche mit Wasser füllen. Verschlusskappe auf Saugflasche aufsetzen. Hinweis: Durch Füllen der Saugflasche mit Wasser wird das Luftvolumen der Saugflasche verkleinert. Dies hat erstens den Vorteil, dass bei Starten der Absaugung am ENDOMAT® LC Flüssigkeit schneller angesaugt wird (kleineres Totvolumen). Zweitens wird praktisch keine Flüssigkeit nachgesaugt, wenn die Absaugung am ENDOMAT® LC gestoppt wird.

Fill the suction bottle with water. Place the cap onto the suction bottle. Note: When the suction bottle is filled with water, the air volume of the suction bottle is reduced. One advantage of this is that the liquid is suctioned faster on starting suction on the ENDOMAT® LC (smaller dead volume). A second advantage is that almost no fluid will be suctioned after the suction on the ENDOMAT® LC has been stopped.

Insert the free end of the inflow tube (see arrow) with its tube connector (female) onto the connector on the cap.

Warnung: Die Saugflasche muss auf Patientenhöhe platziert werden, um zu verhindern, dass aufgrund des Höhengefälles zwischen Patient und Absaugflasche die Saugflasche volläuft.

Warning: The suction bottle must be placed at the height of the patient to prevent it from filling up due to the height difference between the patient and the suction bottle.

Cuidado: La botella de succión ha de situarse a la altura del paciente, con el fin de evitar que la botella de succión se llene debido a la diferencia de altura entre el paciente y la botella de succión.

Note: The CALCUSON 276100 20 was designed specially for operation with the suction pump ENDOMAT® LC (lithotripsy mode), which is why the instruction manual describes the two instruments as one functional unit. For combined operation, use the reusable Tubing Set 20 3303 42. Correct assembly following disassembly for cleaning and disinfection is described in the section “Cleaning, disinfection and sterilization” starting on p. 25 and in section “Preparing the tube set” starting on p. 12. Warning: Improper assembly of the tubing sets or failure to observe the notes regarding the test for proper operation may result in serious injury to the patient. Place the tubing set in the pump head and lock into place with the lever.

To relieve pressure, the tubing set should be vented via the ultrasonic transducer and the connected probe by suctioning sterile irrigation solution from a sterile tray just before the intervention. To do this, switch on the ENDOMAT® LC using the power switch. Press the START/STOP button 5 (see arrow) to start the pump, and stop it once the tube has been vented.

Im Normalmodus (ohne Symbolanzeige) kann ein Flow von 0-1000 ml/min (in Schritten von 50 ml) gewählt werden. Die ± Tasten 1 solange betätigen, bis die Digitalanzeige 0 den gewünschten Sollwert anzeigt. Hinweis: Werden die ± Tasten länger als 3 s betätigt, ändern sich die Werte kontiniuierlich.

In normal mode (without symbol display) a flow of 0-1000 ml/min (in increments of 50 ml) can be selected. Press the ± buttons 1 until the digital display 0 shows the required setpoint. Note: If the ± buttons are pressed for longer than 3 s, the values will change continuously.
