Colocación de las tarjetas de identiƂcación en la placa frontal Aƃoje con un destornillador el lado izquierdo de la cubierta lateral frontal. NOTA: Los respectivos elementos de control o indicadores del aparato se encuentran designados en las tarjetas de identiƂcación.

Gegebenenfalls vorhandenen unbeschrifteten Platzhalter entfernen. Beschriftungsstreifen auswählen (z. Zt. in 8 Sprachen erhältlich) und zwischen Dekorfolie und Frontblech schieben. Den Streifen bei der Strichmarkierung um 90° knicken und ca. 2 mm weiter (zum Streifenende hin) wieder 90° zurückknicken, damit die Seitenblende wieder ungehindert angebracht werden kann. Seitenblende wieder anbringen.

Remove any unmarked label strip. Select a label strip (currently 8 languages available) and slide it between the plastic and the metal front. Fold the strip along the broken line to an angle of 90° and approximately 2 mm further on (toward the end of the strip) fold it back to an angle of 90° so that the side cover can be reƂtted without any obstructions. Replace the side cover.

En caso necesario, retire las tarjetas de identiƂcación existentes que no hayan sido rellenadas. Seleccione la tarjeta de identiƂcación (8 idiomas en la actualidad) y deslícela entre la lámina decorativa y la chapa frontal. Doble la tarjeta de identiƂcación en un ángulo de 90° por la marca y dóblela de nuevo hacia atrás, dejando un espacio de 2 mm (en dirección al extremo de la tarjeta de identiƂcación), de modo que sea posible colocar la cubierta lateral sin impedimentos. Vuelva a montar la cubierta lateral.

Inserting the tubes

NOTE: The tubing set must not be inserted until the unit has been switched on with the power switch|. If the tubing set is inserted before switching on, the self-check procedure blocks the equipment. If the footswitch or the irrigation START/STOP button is pressed simultaneously while switching on the power switch, the self-check procedure may be avoided. Make sure the unit performs a self-check procedure at least once every day of operation.

NOTA: El set de tubos ƃexibles no debe colocarse antes de haber enchufado el aparato al enchufe de red , ya que, al realizar el chequeo de funciones, el aparato se bloquearía. El chequeo de funciones puede evitarse, accionando el interruptor de pedal o la tecla de CONEXIÓN/DESCONEXIÓN de irrigación al mismo tiempo que se conecta el aparato. Einlegen des Schlauchsets

HINWEIS: Das Schlauchset darf erst eingelegt werden, nachdem das Gerät am Netzschalter| eingeschaltet wurde, da sonst bei der Selbstprüfung des Gerätes die Gerätefunktionen blockiert werden. Die Selbstprüfung kann umgangen werden, wenn während des Einschaltens gleichzeitig der Fußschalter oder die START/STOP-Taste Spülen| betätigt wird. Es muss jedoch sichergestellt werden, dass das Gerät mindestens einmal pro Betriebstag eine Selbstprüfung durchführt.

VORSICHT: Nur die für den ENDOMAT® n. HAMOU® vorgesehenen Schlauchsets verwenden. HINWEIS: Die Pumpenschlauchkonnektoren haben unterschiedliche Breiten, so dass der Schlauch nur in einer Richtung eingelegt werden kann.

Screw the bacterial Ƃlter into the vacuum line Ƃtting|cq on the suction bottle and attach the suction line to the Ƃlter housing. CAUTION: To prevent contamination of the unit by penetrating suction ƃuids, a hydrophobic protection Ƃlter must be inserted between the suction bottle and the unit.

Vorreinigung wiederverwendbarer Schläuche

Wiederverwendbare Schläuche sofort nach Gebrauch in einen Behälter mit Reinigungslösung (gemäß Herstellervorschrift) legen, um zu verhindern, dass Verunreinigungen auf der Oberƃäche des Schlauchsets antrocknen. VORSICHT: Zum Ansetzen und zur Anwendung der Lösungen sind die Angaben des Chemikalienherstellers über Konzentration und Einwirkungszeit genauestens zu beachten. Zu langes Einlegen kann zu Materialveränderungen führen. Anforderungen an die Wasserqualität Das Ansetzen von Reinigungs- und Desinfektionslösungen kann mit Leitungswasser erfolgen. Bei der letzten Spülung, z. B. um Chemikalienrückstände zu entfernen, ist mikrobiologisch einwandfreies/steriles Wasser zu verwenden.

Reinigung/Aufbereitung WARNUNG: Bei allen Reinigungs- und Desinfektionsarbeiten an kontaminierten Instrumenten sind die örtlichen Richtlinien der Berufsgenossenschaft und gleichrangiger Organisationen zu beachten.

8. 5. 1 Manuelle Reinigung Saugƃasche und Verschlusskappe KARL STORZ Saugƃaschen mit Verschlusskappen folgendermaßen aufbereiten: Schläuche von den Sauglanzen vorsichtig abziehen und Flasche aus der Halterung nehmen. HINWEIS: Zeitnaher Transport zum Aufbereitungsort mit anschließendem Dekontaminationsverfahren ist zu gewährleisten.

Preliminary cleaning of reusable tubing

Place the reusable tubing in a container Ƃlled with a cleaning solution (as per manufacturer’s instructions) immediately after use to prevent contaminants from drying on the surface of the tubing set.

CAUTION: When preparing and using the solutions, follow the chemical manufacturers’ instructions paying close attention to proper dilution and working times. Prolonged immersion can lead to material changes. Water quality requirements Tap water can be used to prepare the cleaning and disinfectant solutions. When rinsing for the last time, for example to remove any chemical residue, microbiologically pure/sterile water must be used.

Cleaning/Preparation WARNING: The local guidelines of the Employer’s Liability Insurance Association and equivalent organizations must be observed when performing all cleaning and disinfection procedures on contaminated instruments.

8. 5. 1 Manual cleaning of the suction bottle and cap Prepare KARL STORZ suction bottles with caps as follows: Carefully pull the tubes from the suction lances and take the bottle out of the holder.

Inmediatamente después de haberlos utilizado, deposite los tubos ƃexibles reutilizables en un recipiente con solución de limpieza (según las instrucciones del fabricante), a Ƃn de evitar que la suciedad se reseque sobre la superƂcie del set de tubos ƃexibles. We recommend sterilizing the suction bottle separately, i.e. packed in sterile goods nonwoven material/paper and separated from the other medical devices to be sterilized. Steam sterilization with the fractionated prevacuum procedure at 134°C (+3°C) is required before use of the reusable tubing.

The customer or user of the unit can help prevent electromagnetic interference by maintaining a minimum distance between portable and mobile RF communications equipment (transmitters) and the unit as recommended below, according to the maximum output power of the communications equipment. For transmitters rated at a maximum output power not listed above, the recommended separation distance d in meters (m) can be estimated using the equation applicable to the frequency of the transmitter, where P is the maximum output power rating of the transmitter in watts (W) according to the|transmitter manufacturer. Note 1: At 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the higher frequency range applies. Note 2: These guidelines may not apply in all situations. Electromagnetic propagation is affected by absorption and reƃection by structures, objects and people.
