Das KARL STORZ Schnittstellengerät INTERFACE II 20092132 ermöglicht dem SCBund AIDA-System die gemeinsame Nutzung von Ein-/ Ausgabegeräten (LCD-Monitor, TouchScreen, Tastatur und Maus) vom SCB- und AIDASystem.

The KARL STORZ interface unit INTERFACE II 20092132 enables the SCB and AIDA systems to share input/output devices (LCD monitor, touch screen, keyboard and mouse).

El aparato de interfaz de KARL STORZ INTERFACE II 20092132 permite la utilización conjunta por parte de los sistemas SCB y AIDA de los aparatos de entrada y salida (monitor LCD, pantalla táctil, teclado y ratón).

Dazu wird das Schnittstellengerät zwischen KARL STORZ OR1™ control (SCB-Steuerrechner), KARL STORZ AIDA® control (AIDA-Steuerrechner) und die Ein-/Ausgabegeräte geschaltet. Generell besteht natürlich die Möglichkeit, SCB (R-UI)- und AIDA-System mit getrennten Ein-/ Ausgabegeräten zu betreiben. Soll jedoch nur eine ,Konsolenstation‘ (Tastatur etc.) verwendet werden, INTERFACE ist das Schnittstellengerät II 20092132 zu verwenden.

For this, the interface unit is connected between KARL STORZ OR1™ control (SCB control computer), KARL STORZ AIDA® control (AIDA control computer) and the input/output devices. Generally speaking, it is of course possible to operate the SCB (R-UI) and AIDA system with separate input/output devices. If, however, only one ‘console station’ (keyboard etc.) is to be used, the interface unit INTERFACE II 20092132 must be used.

Para ello, el aparato de interfaz se conecta entre el KARL STORZ OR1™ control (ordenador central SCB), el KARL STORZ AIDA® control (ordenador central AIDA) y los aparatos de entrada y salida. En general, existe la posibilidad de utilizar los sistemas SCB (R-UI) y AIDA con aparatos de entrada y salida separados. Sin embargo, si se debe emplear una “consola” única (teclado, etc), ha de utilizarse INTERFACE II el aparato de interfaz 20092132.

A second touch screen can also be connected to the OR1™ control or AIDA control in the combination of the Interface II 20092132 with a KARL STORZ splitter W20419 (OR1-RGB Interface).

Entnehmen Sie das Schnittstellengerät INTERFACE II und das Zubehör vorsichtig der Verpackung. Überprüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf eventuelle Beschädigungen. Sollte die Lieferung Anlass zur Reklamation geben, so wenden Sie sich bitte umgehend an den Hersteller oder Lieferanten. Wenn möglich, bewahren Sie die Originalverpackung auf; sie kann bei einem Transport des Gerätes nützlich sein.

Carefully remove the interface unit INTERFACE II and accessories from their packaging. Check for missing items and evidence of shipping damage. File any complaints with the manufacturer or supplier immediately. If possible, retain the original packing materials for later use; these can come in handy if the unit has to be transported.

Extraiga cuidadosamente el aparato de interfaz INTERFACE II y sus accesorios de la caja. Revise si el envío está completo y compruebe posibles averías de transporte. En caso de reclamaciones, diríjase inmediatamente a la fábrica o a la empresa suministradora. Es recomendable guardar el embalaje original para volver a utilizarlo en un posible transporte posterior del equipo.

The unit is equipped with a connector  for attaching a ground line. The unit’s ground line should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Check that you are registered as a Windows® administrator for the next steps. When registering in Windows®, enter Administrator as your user name and Admin as the password.

NOTE: Carry out these steps on the KARL STORZ AIDA® control. Call up the ‘Local Area Connection Status’ window (Start > Settings > Network Connections). Right-click on one of the local area connections and select ‘Rename’. Rename this connection to ‘SCB’ and confirm with Enter.

Doppelklicken auf die Netzwerkverbindung ,SCB‘ stellt die Netzwerkverbindung her. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Crossoverkabel (SCBLink-Kabel) vom OR1™ control zur AIDA control führt und in den Netzwerkanschluss eingesteckt ist. Klicken Sie ein zweites Mal auf die Netzwerkverbindung ,SCB‘. Dies zeigt dann das Fenster ,SCB Status‘. Scrollen Sie durch die Liste und machen Sie einen Doppelklick auf ,Internet Protokoll (TCP/IP)‘. Wählen Sie ,Benutzen Sie die folgende IP-Adresse‘ in dem Fenster ,Internet Protokoll (TCP/IP) Eigenschaften‘ und bestätigen diese. IP-Adresse: 192 . 168 . 1 . 10 Subnet Mask: 255 . 255 . 255 . 0 Alle Fenster mit OK bestätigen und schließen.

Double clicking the network connection ‘SCB’ will establish the network connection. Ensure that the cross over cable (SCB link cable) coming from the OR1™ control leads to the AIDA control and is correctly plugged into the network port. Double click a second time on the network connection ‘SCB’. This will show the window ‘SCB Status’. Scroll through the list and double click on ‘Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)’. Choose ‘Use the following IP address’ in the window ‘Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties’ and enter IP Address: 192 . 168 . 1 . 10 Subnet mask: 255 . 255 . 255 . 0 Confirm all windows with OK and close them.

Haciendo doble clic sobre la conexión de red ,SCB‘ genere la conexión en red. Asegúrese de que el cable cruzado (cable SCBLink) conecta el OR1™ control al AIDA control y está insertado en el conector para red informática. Haga clic por segunda vez en la conexión de red “SCB”. To ensure that the touch screen monitor reacts precisely at the point/button which is touched, it must be calibrated after the driver is installed.
