Carefully remove the device and accessories from the packaging. Check for missing items and evidence of damage during shipment. Connect the monitor with the IMAGE1 CONNECT (see fig. E). Depending on the types of connectors provided on the monitor, this connection can be generated using either: • DVI-D output • 3G-SDI output The primary working screen should be connected to DVI1. NOTE: The connected monitor must support a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Before connecting the devices to the electrical supply line, check that the values on the power sockets concur with the values on the devices’ identification plates. 1. Insert the device plug of the power cord into the power supply cord receptacle of the IMAGE1 CONNECT (see fig. G). 2. Insert the device plug of the power cord into the power supply cord receptacle of the IMAGE1 LINK modules (see fig. H). 3. Insert the modules’ power cords into the power sockets. WARNING: Always use a hospital grade power cord with this camera.

Richten Sie den Kamerakopf bzw. das Videoendoskop auf ein Objekt und überprüfen Sie die Qualität der Darstellung am Monitor. 4. Überprüfen Sie bei Verwendung von 3D-Videoendoskopen die richtige Darstellung am Monitor. Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie die passende Polarisationsbrille zum Monitor verwenden. 1. Inspect the IMAGE1 SPIES™ module and the camera head and/or the video endoscope for external damage. 2. Ensure that the camera head cable and/or the video endoscope cable is not damaged or kinked. 3. Point the camera head and/or the video endoscope towards an object and check the quality of the display on the monitor. 4. When using 3D video endoscopes, check to make sure the monitor's display is correct. Please ensure that you use the correct polarized eyewear for the monitor.

Live-Menü

Das Live-Menü erlaubt die Auswahl verschiedener Kamerafunktionen bzw. Veränderungen der Einstellungen angeschlossener Geräte (siehe Abb. M). Nicht verbundene Geräte werden ausgegraut dargestellt. In das Live-Menü gelangen Sie durch Drücken der Enter-Taste auf der Tastatur bzw. durch Drücken der Menü-Taste u am Kamerakopf/ Videoendoskop. HINWEIS: Die Icons im Live-Menü werden angezeigt, sobald ein Kamerakopf angeschlossen ist. HINWEIS: Abhängig von der Konfiguration Ihres Systems, können einzelne Icons deaktiviert bzw. nicht vorhanden sein. Die Konfiguration kann im Setup-Menü verändert werden. The live menu allows you to choose between different camera functions and change the settings of connected devices (see fig. M). Unconnected devices are shown in gray. You can access the live menu by pressing the enter button on the keyboard or by pressing the menu button u on the camera head/video endoscope.

3D-Ausgabequelle: Zusätzlich zum 3D-Bild kann ein 2D-Bild auf einem separaten Monitor dargestellt bzw. auf einem verbundenem Dokumentationsgerät (AIDA™) aufgenommen werden. Die folgenden Modi können ausgewählt werden: • DVI1 • DVI1/DVI2 • DVI1/3G-SDI • DVI1, DVI2/3G-SDI Alle Ausgänge, die hier nicht ausgewählt wurden, übertragen ein 2D-Bild. Am DVI1 (siehe Beschriftung auf der IMAGE1 CONNECT) liegt immer das 3D-Signal an. Es muss daher sichergestellt werden, dass dieser Ausgang immer mit dem 3D-Arbeitsmonitor verbunden ist. Ein Verkabelungsbeispiel finden Sie unter 7.3.14. HINWEIS: Auf dem 2D-Bild wird keine Menüstruktur angezeigt. Diese dienen der zusätzlichen 2D-Visualisierung sowie der Dokumentation in 2D. The following modes can be selected: • DVI1 • DVI1/DVI2 • DVI1/3G-SDI • DVI1, DVI2/3G-SDI All outputs which have not been selected here transmit a 2D image. The 3D signal is always present at the DVI1 (see label on the IMAGE1 CONNECT). Thus, it must be ensured that this output is always connected to the 3D working monitor. A cabling example can be found under 7.3.14.

Wischdesinfektion von Geräten

Die Außenflächen des Gerätes mit einem mit Desinfektionsmittel befeuchteten und flusen armen Einmaltuch wischend reinigen. Zur Wischdesinfektion empfehlen wir ausschließlich Flächendesinfektionsmittel (keine alkoholischen Konzentrate wie z. B. Schnelldesinfektionsmittel) sowie Einwegwischverfahren auf der Basis von Ammoniumchloriden.

Wipe-down disinfection of devices

Wipe-clean the exterior surfaces of the device with a disposable low-lint cloth moistened with disinfectant. For wipe-down disinfection, we recommend using only surface disinfectants (no solutions predominantly containing alcohol such as rapid-action disinfectants) and disposable disinfectant methods based on ammonium chloride. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for exposure and drying time.

Desinfección por frotado de los aparatos

Das Verfügen über technische Unterlagen zum Gerät stellt auch für technisch geschultes Personal keine Autorisierung durch den Hersteller zum Öffnen oder Reparieren des Gerätes dar. Ausgenommen sind im Text der vorliegenden Gebrauchsanweisung beschriebene Eingriffe.

On request, the manufacturer will provide those circuit diagrams, itemized parts listings, descriptions, sets of adjustment instructions and other items of available documentation to suitably qualified user personnel duly authorized by the manufacturer for their use in repairing those components of the unit that have been designated by their respective manufacturers as repairable. Supply of such technical documentation relating to the unit shall not be construed as constituting manufacturer’s authorization of user’s personnel, regardless of their level of technical training, to open or repair the unit.
