Desembalaje

Entnehmen Sie den Touch-Screen Monitor und das Zubehör vorsichtig der Verpackung. Überprüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf eventuelle Beschädigungen. Sollte die Lieferung Anlass zur Reklamation geben, so wenden Sie sich bitte umgehend an den Hersteller oder Lieferanten. Wenn möglich, bewahren Sie die Originalverpackung auf, sie kann bei einem Transport des Gerätes nützlich sein.

Carefully unpack the touch screen monitor and remove the unit and its accessories from their packaging. Check for missing items and evidence of shipping damage. File any complaints with the manufacturer or supplier immediately. If possible, retain the original packing materials for later use; these can come in handy if the unit has to be transported.

Extraiga cuidadosamente el monitor de pantalla táctil y sus accesorios de la caja. Revise si el envío está completo y compruebe posibles averías de transporte. En caso de reclamaciones, diríjase inmediatamente al fabricante o al proveedor. Der KARLSTORZ (TFT) Touch-Screen Monitor 20 0904 37 ist unbedingt an einem geeigneten Ort aufzustellen. • Das Gerät auf einer stabilen und ebenen Fläche aufstellen (Desktop-Ausführung). • Installieren Sie das Gerät an einem Haltearm nur an dafür geeignete Stellen und beachten Sie ggf. die nationalen Vorschriften (Wall-Mounted-Ausführung). • Der Standort muss gut belüftet sowie entfernt von Quellen von übermäßigem Staub, Schmutz, Hitze, Wasser, Feuchtigkeit und Schwingungen sein und darf keiner direkten Sonneneinstrahlung ausgesetzt sein.

It is essential to place the KARLSTORZ (TFT) Touch Screen Monitor 20 0904 37 in a suitable location. • The surface on which the touch screen monitor is to be placed should be stable and level (Desktop Version). • Install the holding arm version of the monitor only in suitable locations and observe any national standards (Wall-mounted Version).

El monitor (TFT) de pantalla táctil KARLSTORZ 20 0904 37 ha de instalarse imprescindiblemente en un lugar adecuado. • El monitor de pantalla táctil ha de colocarse sobre una supercie estable y plana (versión de sobremesa). • Instale el monitor en ejecución de brazo soporte sólo en los lugares apropiados al efecto y tenga en cuenta, si es necesario, los reglamentos nacionales (montaje mural). • El lugar de emplazamiento debe estar bien ventilado, así como libre de fuentes exageradas de polvo, suciedad, calor, agua, humedad y vibraciones y no ha de estar expuesto a la radiación solar directa. Advertencia: No cubra los oricios de ventilación del proyector. El equipo requiere de una aireación suciente para su correcto funcionamiento.

• Ensure that the location is well ventilated, is out of direct sunlight and away from sources of excessive dust, dirt, heat, water, moisture and vibration.

Caution: Do not cover the air vents of the touch screen monitor. Adequate cooling is required for proper operation of the unit.

Mechanical Adjustment of the Monitor

Ajuste mecánico del monitor

Bei dem Touch-Screen Monitormodell 20 0904 06 kann der Winkel zwischen Monitor und Standfuß verstellt werden. Neigung: -4° bis 20° Drehung in Standard- und Portraitmodus: 0° bis 90°. Vorsicht: Halten Sie beim Verstellen der Neigungsmöglichkeiten Ihren LCD-Bildschirm nur am Rahmen fest und berühren Sie das LCD-Panel nicht, um möglichen Schäden daran vorzubeugen. Vorsicht: Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass Sie den Neigungsgrad nicht bis zum äußersten ausnützen, da es sonst unter Umständen dazu führen kann, dass Sie Schäden am Flachbildschirm oder am Standfuß verursachen. Bevor Sie Ihren Bildschirm in den Portraitmodus drehen, neigen Sie den Bildschirm bis ca. 15° nach vorne bis zum Anschlag, damit die Ecken des Bildschirms beim Drehen nicht an den Standfuß stoßen.

The tilt angle between the monitor and the stand of the touch screen monitor model 20 0904 06 can be adjusted. Tilt: -4° to 20° Pivot in standard and portrait mode: 0° to 90°.

En el caso del monitor de pantalla táctil modelo 20 0904 06 se puede regular el ángulo entre el monitor y el pie soporte. Inclinación: -4° hasta 20° Rotación en modo estándar ymodo retrato: 0°hasta 90°. Advertencia: Sujete su monitor LCD, cuando proceda a la regulación del ángulo de inclinación, solamente por el marco y no toque el panel LCD, para así evitar posibles daños. Advertencia: Procure no utilizar excesivamente el grado de inclinación, pues podría producir daños en la pantalla plana o en el pie soporte. Antes de girar la pantalla en el modo retrato, inclínela hacia delante aprox. 15°, hasta el tope, para que así las esquinas de la pantalla no choquen contra el pie soporte al girar.

Caution: Please ensure that the tilt angle is not inclined to the utmost as this may cause damage to the flat screen monitor or stand. Before you pivot the monitor into portrait mode, tilt the monitor forward to a 15° angle (approx.) as far as will go so that the corners of the monitor do not touch the stand when pivoted.

The Wheel Knob

El botón giratorio

Der Drehknopf ist ein benutzerfreundliches Multifunktionsinstrument. Er befindet sich hinter der Indikator LED Anzeige, auf der rechten unteren Seite des Displays. Der Drehknopf hat 3 Bewegungsmöglichkeiten: • Drehung vorwärts: Hoch-/Rechtsbewegen - Erhöhen • Drehung rückwärts: Herunter-/Linksbewegen - Verringern • Eindrücken: Bestätigen - Aktivieren - Speichern - Kurzes Drücken = Display schaltet ein - Kurzes Drücken = Display schaltet aus - Doppeldrücken = aktiviert das OSD Menü (siehe S. 16) Das OSD Menü verschwindet nach 3 Sek., wenn keine Eingaben gemacht werden.

The wheel knob is a multi-functional device located behind the LED Indicator on the right side of the front bezel.

El botón giratorio es un instrumento multifuncional de fácil manejo. Se encuentra detrás del indicador LED, en la parte inferior derecha de la pantalla. El botón giratorio dispone de 3 posibiidades de movimiento: • Rotación hacia delante: Movimiento arriba/derecha - Aumentar • Rotación hacia atrás: Movimiento abajo/izquierda - Disminuir • Presión del botón: Conrmar - Activar - Grabar - Presión corta = Conexión de la pantalla - Presión corta = Desconexión de la pantalla - Doble presión = Activa el menú OSD (véase pág. 16) El menú OSD desaparece tras 3 seg. si no se realiza ninguna acción.

Turn On and OFF Press the wheel knob in order to turn ON the display if the LED indicator is off. In order to turn the display OFF, press the OSD wheel knob again.

LED-Anzeige Die LED Anzeige leuchtet grün, wenn der Bildschirm in Betrieb genommen wurde und das Netzkabel richtig angebracht ist. Die LED Anzeige leuchtet orange, sobald der Bildschirm in den Energiesparmodus überwechselt. Befindet sich der Flachbildschirm im Energiesparmodus oder wird von ihm kein korrektes Eingangssignal erkannt, ist der Bildschirm schwarz und die LED leuchtet orange.

LED Display This LED indicator turns green when the power is switched ON and the power cord is properly attached. It turns amber when the monitor goes into a power saving mode.

Hinweis: Erst nach der Trennung des Netzteils vom Stromnetz stellt sich keine Leistungsaufnahme mehr ein.

Note: The power is off only when the mains adaptor is disconnected from the mains supply.

Indicador LED El indicador LED se enciende de color verde, cuando el monitor se ha puesto en servicio y el cable de la red ha sido conectado correctamente. El indicador LED se enciende de color naranja, tan pronto como el monitor cambie al modo de ahorro de energía. Si el monitor se encuentra en modo de ahorro de energía o no se reconoce ninguna señal correcta de entrada, el monitor está negro y el indicador LED se enciende de color naranja. Nota: Solamente tras la separación del transformador de red de la red eléctrica no existe ningún consumo de energía.

The wheel knob has three movements: • Rotate Upward: Move Up/Right - Increase • Rotate Downward : Move Downward/Left - Decrease • Button Press: Execute - Do - Save - Press shortly = Display switches on - Press shortly = Display switches off - Press twice = Activates OSD menu (see page 16) The OSD menu will disappear after 3 seconds ifno entries are made.

If the flat screen is in power-saving mode or if there is no proper input signal, the screen is black and the LED lights up amber.

• User (Benutzer): Wählen Sie diese Funktion aus und bestätigen durch Drücken des Drehknopfes. Im Menüpunkt User (Benutzer) können Sie die Farbtemperatur nach Ihren Wünschen einstellen. Wählen Sie dazu die gewünschten Farbanteile Red (Rot), Green (Grün) und Blue (Blau).

• User: Select this function and confirm by pressing the wheel knob. In the User menu item you can set a color temperature to meet your individual needs. To do this, select the desired red, green and blue color components.

• User (Usuario): Seleccione esta función y confirme accionando el botón giratorio. En el menú User (Usuario) puede ajustar usted la temperatura de color como desee. Seleccione para ello el espectro cromático deseado Red (Rojo), Green (Verde) y Blue (Azul).

Phase Mittels Phase kann das Bild korrigiert werden. Die Fokussierung und somit die Deutlichkeit des Bildes kann hier eingestellt werden. Normalerweise wird dies schon vom Auto-Setup geregelt, so dass hier keine weiteren Einstellungen nötig sind. Jedoch kann hier in kleinen Schritten nachgestellt werden.

Phase The image can be corrected with the Phase function. The phase and thus the clarity of the image can be set here. Normally, this is regulated by the Auto-Setup, which means that no further settings are necessary. Nevertheless, adjustments in small increments are possible here.

Phase (Fase) Por medio de Phase (Fase) puede corregirse la imagen. Aquí puede ajustarse el enfoque y, con ello, la nitidez de la imagen. If a touch screen monitor is switched back and forth between the SCB system / SCB control NEO system and the AIDA system / AIDA compact NEO system via the AIDA interface, the touch screen must be calibrated on both systems (see pages 25 and 26). To do this, start the AIDA system (SCB switched off) and calibrate the touch screen. Then shut down the AIDA system / AIDA compact NEO system, switch it off, and start the SCB system / SCB control NEO system. After you have calibrated the touch screen on the SCB system, the two systems can be operated in parallel.
