CARDIOHELP CSV CONVERTER CONVERTING A CHP FILE OVERVIEW The CARDIOHELP-i can record data in an internal memory and export this to a USB memory stick (chp file, Ö CARDIOHELP system User's Manual). With the CARDIOHELP CSV Converter program you can convert the exported chp file into a csv file ("character separated values") in order to open the data in a spreadsheet (e.g., Microsoft Excel).

To start the programm, double click on the "CARDIOHELP CSV Converter.exe" file. CARRYING OUT CONVERSION 1 Click on the "Open" symbol and select the folder and name of the chp file which you wish to convert. 2 Click on the "Save" symbol and select the folder and name of the csv file in which you wish to save the data. – Conversion may take several minutes if large amounts of data are involved. You can cancel conversion by clicking on the "Cancel" symbol. Cancelling the process may result in an incomplete csv file which contains only part of the recorded data. – For each conversion the program creates a log file (file extension "log") with details on the conversion process. – If more than 65535 data records are involved the data is spilt into several csv files (file name-suffix "_1", "_2" etc.).

Following successful conversion the program displays the "OK" symbol.

Otherwise the program displays the "Failed" symbol. The causes for failed conversion can be found in the log file. To close the CARDIOHELP CSV Converter programm, click on the "Close" symbol in the title bar at the top right of the window. PROGRAM VERSION To display the program version and further information, click on the "Information" symbol.
