1.3.4.5
Definition of permissible overall load The "permissible overall load" is calculated by adding the weight of the patient and the weight of accessories on the side rails. The "permissible overall load" is the load which can be placed on the table top.
1.3.4.6
Restrictions might result from the components table top and transporter for which other overall loads may be valid, or from special patient positions.
Definition of hazardous location, Zone AP-M
NOTE The medical environment is designated as "Zone AP-M" (1).

1.3.4.7
Definition Positioning- / Transportposition For moving the independently manoeuvrable operating table (1180.01D0), differentiation is made between moving it with and without patient. Positioning position Moving the independently manoeuvrable operating table with patient is only permitted within the operating theatre under the following conditions. The independently manoeuvrable operating table must be in the positioning position, i.e. lateral tilt and longitudinal shift are reset and the table top height is restricted. The independently manoeuvrable operating table is not approved for patient transfer.
1180.01 6 MAGNUS GA 1180.01 EN 16
Transport position Moving the independently manoeuvrable operating table without patient is only permitted within the hospital under the following conditions. The independently manoeuvrable operating table must be in the transport position, i.e. lateral tilt, slope, motor-powered leg plate adjustment and longitudinal shift are reset and the table top height is restricted.
