FOREWORD
In buying MAGNUS, you have chosen the latest, most efficient operating table system. Extreme adjustment ranges for optimum patient positioning, which had previously been impossible, allow surgeons to work in the most ergonomic position. With minimal invasive surgery, i.e. where the necessary exposure of the operating area is achieved through gravitational forces, the functions of the MAGNUS system are unbeaten.
Pocket Guide provides examples of how quickly and easily the table top can be assembled for the most frequent surgical interventions. The main operating steps are shown in illustrations, with short additional descriptions alongside.
Practical technology aims to make the user’s work as simple as possible. This
The Pocket Guide is not intended to replace the comprehensive Operating Instructions, but acts as a rapid reference in many cases, thus allowing you to relax as you work right from the start.

Cranial position: The patient’s pelvis is, for example, on a joint module and the upper body lies on a back plate.
Caudal position: The patient’s pelvis is, for example, on a joint module and the legs are on a leg plate.
