Alarm handling

Alarms can be displayed in one of three colors depending on priority: High
Medium

Low
1. Silence and pre-silence alarms Press the Audio pause fixed key for less than 2 seconds to silence the alarm for two minutes. To Pre-silence low and medium alarms for 2 minutes, tap when no alarms are active.
2. Adjust alarm settings Press the Alarm Profile fixed key to open the alarm window. Autoset of alarm limits are available in VC, PC and PRVC modes.

Setting up and starting ventilation 1.
Plug in the power cord.

Switch ON the ventilator, at the back of the panel.
3.
Connect oxygen and air hoses.
4.
Lock cart wheels.
5.
Start Pre-use check (needs test tube) and follow onscreen instructions. Includes Patient circuit test.
6.
Choose Patient category: Adult or Infant*
7.
Choose Ventilation type: Invasive ventilation or NIV*
8.
Choose Ventilation mode and adjust the settings.
9.
Adjust alarm limits in the alarm window.

Changing ventilation mode 1. Press touchpad to access the mode menu. 2. Press the arrow and the available ventilation modes appear. Select the desired mode. 3. Change the settings by activating, changing and confirming each one with the help of the Main rotary dial or by pressing the relevant touchpad. 4. To activate all settings in the window press Accept, or to cancel the settings press Cancel.
Disconnect and stop ventilation

1. Physically disconnect the patient from the ventilator. 2. Press the Start/Standby key. 3. Press Yes to stop ventilation.

4. Turn the ventilator off using the On/Off switch on the lower back of the User Interface.
