Alert Messages The following additional alert messages applicable to sensors and patient cables will be displayed on Rad-57 and Pronto devices: Display

Solution

Check Sensor Connection.

Unplug and plug in sensor to the sensor port. Ensure sensor connector to the instrument is secure.

*Patient Cable Life Near Expiration.

Replace the patient cable.

*Sensor Life Near Expiration.

Replace the sensor.

*Adhesive Sensor Life Near Expiration.

Replace the adhesive sensor.

(Blinks three times and returns to monitoring screen)

RPL SEN

(Blinks three times and returns to monitoring screen)

RPL ADH

(Blinks three times and returns to monitoring screen) *Upon connecting a cable or sensor that is near the end of its active patient monitoring life, the device will display the Life Near Expiration message by blinking rPL CbL, rPL SEn and rPL AdH three times. No additional Life Near Expiration message will appear unless a new connection is established. It is recommended to switch to a new sensor or cable whenever this alert message is displayed.
