Battery Replacement Kit DIRECTIONS FOR USE The Rad-G Li-Ion Battery Replacement Kit PN 5148 includes the following: • Battery - 27058 CAUTIONS • Only use the battery (PN 27058) included in the kit. Use of other batteries may affect performance. INSTRUCTIONS 1. Ensure the Rad-G is turned off. Press and hold the power button until the device beeps once and shuts off. 2. Loosen the six (6) screws using a small Philips screwdriver on the back cover (Fig. 1) and remove the cover. 3. Disconnect the battery connector (Fig. 2) by gently tugging on the male six pin connector and remove the battery. 4. Place the new battery in the Rad-G device and connect the male six pin connector into the appropriate female pin connector port. Note: Route the battery wiring exactly as the original wiring was routed to prevent the wiring from being pinched between the device and the back cover. 5. Install the back cover. Install and tighten the screws using a small Philips screwdriver. 6. Charge the device and power on to verify battery has been properly installed. ENVIRONMENTAL Storage Humidity
