Instruction to setup an Export PDF From the main menu select CONFIGURATION This opens the following menu; From the buttons at the bottom of the screen select the option; Import Export HL7
This will open a new window; Select Exportations Note: the HL7 tab is only active if the USER purchases the HL7 option.

Form the next screen; Select if you are going to make the changes in the Default Settings or use the NEW to introduce a name of your own (Recommended)
On entering NEW
Enter the name you wish to use.
For Example

The pre-defined selection list is as follows;
Select one of the formats you would like to use, the file will be formatted for example; medisoftserverexport-dataName-ID-TestDate.PDF Where; NAME = NAME of subject from Database ID = ID number of the subject from the database TESTDATE = is the date of the test from the database The HIS (PAS) software interface from the hospital must be able to read the file name and produce a search function to enable the user to quickly search and find subject reports. Most Web browsers can provide this type of facility, the Web browser must be secure and only allow password access to members of the group with access rights to the data. Medisoft product Web Consult offers this type of facility and is available for purchase. With the file name complete move down the form;

The Printing Protocol must be checked;
Then the choice to use; Printing protocol = Use the one selected by the user to print Select at export = Bring a list of reports for selection before export.
The optional Include in HL7 ORU or MDM message relates to customers with the HL7 option active and allows the HIS (PAS) to receive a message relating to the report being available.
The final option allows the report format to be set to a common format that is used every time the export is ran. The Drop down list will show all the active reports on the system. The Tool box to the right of these selections,
opens a further selection;
The output can be PDF default or BMP formats. The HL7 options only relate to HL7 active systems

Finally the Export can be selected as an automatic function;
To perform when the test is closed To perform when the printing is selected. Alternatively this can be performed at any time by using the EXPORT button on the main screen.
The exported files take the format in the selected folder;
