Manual Clean  SCOPE BUDDY PLUS ™  Endoscope Flushing Aid  USING SCOPE BUDDY™ PLUS ENDOSCOPE FLUSHING AID TO ASPIRATE OLYMPUS® DUAL CHANNEL ENDOSCOPES CONNECTING THE ENDOSCOPE FOR ASPIRATION •  Place endoscope in sink  •  Attach 24-Hour Multi-Use Hookup for OLYMPUS® Endoscopes to endoscope and close all pinch clips.  •  Push blanking cap for OLYMPUS® Endoscopes onto the endoscope’s air/water channels.  •  Install the channel plug over valve openings, leaving both biopsy/instrument ports open.  •  Attach pump tube to 24-Hour Multi-use Hookup for OLYMPUS® Endoscopes  •  Remove the strainer from the end of the pump tube and set it on the counter.  •  Hold end of the pump tube without the strainer over sink.  The ASPIRATION step runs the pump in reverse, drawing fluid through the biopsy channels.  ASPIRATION •  Select the desired aspiration time by using the up and down arrows. The minimum time recommended by Olympus is 30 seconds.  •  Press PLAY to begin aspirating.  PREPARING THE ENDOSCOPE FOR THE NEXT STEP AFTER ASPIRATION •  Replace the strainer on the pump tube when aspiration is complete.  •  Release pinch clips on the tubing attached to the endoscope. Leave the pinch clip closed on tubing if it is not connected to an endoscope port.  •  Install the OLYMPUS® MAJ-420 (Medivators part # DSD-110-HU0159) over the endoscope’s biopsy ports (Shown in picture) per Olympus IFU.
