F800 Pump
Your healthcare practitioner has advised you to administer your tube feeding using a Flocare® 800 (F800) enteral feeding pump. The F800 is a stationary pump that helps you in administering your feeding regime in an easy and safe manner.
Daily Care of the F800 pump > Make sure that your pump, including the sensors and the rotor, is kept clean. The F800 pump can be cleaned using a damp cotton swab or cloth. > Always unplug the pump from the electrical circuit prior to cleaning. > The battery should be maintained at full charge if possible. Keep the pump connected to the mains whenever possible. If the battery is fully charged, the pump can operate for 3 hours (at an average speed of 125 ml/h). The “LOW BATTERY” alarm will sound when approximately 30 minutes of operation time remain. The battery will be fully reloaded after ca.12 hours of charging.
Preparation of the F800 pump Have your Flocare® feeding set ready for use. Open the feeding set and connect it to the feed.
