> Insert the drip chamber of the feeding set into the drip detector slot of the pump.

> Slowly open the roller clamp on the feeding set and allow the total set to fill with feed. Make sure the drip chamber is filled up about one-third.

> Stretch the tubing around the pump wheel and insert the plastic retainer into the bracket on the pump.

> Pull the tubing through the tubing guide.
Connect the feeding set to your tube and continue to operate the pump.
Operating instructions > Turn on the pump by pressing the “POWER/ON” key. The pump is in “HOLD” mode.

> Set the desired flow rate (ml/h) by pressing the “INC” or “DEC” keys. > Flow rates can be set from 1 to 300 ml/h, in 1 ml increments. > Press the “RUN” key to start the pump. > After programming the flow rate do not immediately press the “RUN” key. > Press the “DOSE” key to set the desired dose. > Press “INC” or “DEC” to program the correct dose (in ml). > Press the “RUN” key to start the pump.
RUN
> Press “HOLD” key, pump will stop, all memory and programming is retained. Use this to: change flow rate, alter dose setting, change feed, administer medication. > Press “RUN” to restart the pump.
VOL FED
> Press “VOL FED” key, display will indicate total volume delivered.
HOLD
> Turn on the pump by pressing the “OFF” key for ca 3 seconds.

HOLD
> The pump has been left in “hold” mode for 3.5 minutes.
> Reset the alarm by pressing the “HOLD” key, or > Continue feeding by pressing the “RUN” key.
SET
> The feeding set is incorrectly placed.
> Press the “HOLD” key, insert the plastic retainer into the bracket on the pump, and then “RUN”.
DOSE COMPLETE
> The pump has finished administering the programmed dose.
> Switch the pump off by pressing “OFF” key, or > Program the pump to administer a repeat dose by pressing “HOLD” and then “RUN”.
> The feeding container is empty.
> Change the feeding container or switch off the pump.
> The liquid level in the drip chamber is too high.
> Remove the set from the pump; hold the set upside-down so that feed runs back in to the container, until the chamber is ca. one-third full. Reload the set.
> The sensor area is dirty.
> Remove the drip chamber from the slot and clean the drip detector sensors with a damp cotton swab.
> There is an obstruction to flow, either in the feeding set or in the tube.
> Check the feeding set, ensure that the roller clamp is fully opened and that there are no kinks in the tubing, and/or > Remove the set from the pump and check if feed is flowing from top to bottom (with the roller clamp open), and/or > Check if your tube is clogged by flushing the tube.
LOW BATTERY
> Ca. 30 minutes of battery time remain.
> Connect the pump to the mains and charge the pump. During charging the pump can be used.
MALFUNCTION (E-1 to E-11)
> The pump needs repair.
> Contact your healthcare practitioner.
