1 Turn on the ESG-150.
2a Select Basic or Advanced Level Functionality.
1) Select the “Menu” button.
2) Select “User Level”.
4) Select the “OK” button to confirm.
5) Functionality has changed on the home screen.
3) Select “Basic” or “Advanced” Functionality.

2b Select Mode: Monopolar; Bipolar.
1) Select the mode by tapping on the desired mode located on the bottom of the touch screen.
2c (Optional) Select User Defined Settings.
1) Select the “Menu”.
2) Choose “Select”.
3) Select desired setting.
2) In the menu screen, tap to select the desired mode.
3) Once selected, the home screen will display the change.

4 Changing the Power Level. Select
to adjust power level.
5 Changing the Effect. Select to adjust effect. (Effect is only available in the Advanced Level Function.)

1) Apply the neutral electrode to the patient.
2) Connect to the ESG-150.

7 Monitor Neutral Electrodes: Contact Quality Monitor. If the red neutral electrode lights up and alarm tone sounds: • Is the neutral electrode correctly connected to the device? • Does the neutral electrode have sufficient contact to the skin?
Correct = Green
Error = Red

The wired foot switch is an accessory and must only be used in conjunction with the compatible ESG-150 to activate the generator. The foot switch consists of: • Yellow cut pedal to activate the selected cutting mode. • Blue coagulation pedal to activate the selected coagulation mode. • Foot switch plug (7-pin connector) to connect the foot switch with the ESG-150. The length of the connecting cable is 4m.
