INTRODUCTION The OMRON CX3 is a nebulizer for the inhalation of medical aerosols to treat asthma, chronic bronchitis and other respiratory tract disorders. This nebulizer is suitable for all commonly used inhalation solutions. Use only the type and amount of medication prescribed by your doctor. The advanced nebulization system of OMRON CX3 produces a very small particle size distribution and therefore a medication vapour that will reach effectively and reliably to the upper and lower respiratory passages. The OMRON CX3 is suitable for inhalation at home, in the hospital and at the doctor's practice. This product conforms to the appropriate CE regulations.

10. When inhaling you should sit upright and relaxed. If you must be treated in bed, support yourself with pillows so that you are sitting as upright as possible. The design of this nebulizer kit enables its use in a tilted position. This is especially useful for those who wants to use the device while lying in bed. Always be calm and relaxed when you inhale. Breathe in slowly and deeply so that the medication can reach deep into the bronchial tubes. Hold your breath for a short time, and then breathe out slowly while removing the mouthpiece from your mouth. Do not breathe too quickly. Pause when you feel like having a rest. Breathe in:

THERMAL PROTECTOR The compressor pump motor has a thermal protector, which will turn the power off before the unit overheats. If the thermal protector shuts the power off: 1) Slide the power switch to the "OFF" position. 2) Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet. 3) Make certain the air slots on the unit are not obstructed. 4) Wait 30 minutes for the motor to cool. 5) Restart the compressor. 6) If you are still experiencing problems, contact the dealer where you purchase the unit.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS It is recommended that the nebulizer kit and mouthpiece (not the air tube) are thoroughly rinsed with hot tap water after each use and cleaned with mild detergent after the last treatment of the day. The same pieces must also be disinfected daily by soaking them in a vinegar/water solution or a commercially available disinfectant (strictly follow the instructions enclosed with the disinfectant). If your doctor or respiratory therapist specifies a different cleaning procedure, follow their instructions. RINSING (After Each Treatment) 1) Disconnect mouthpiece or mask from nebulizer kit. 2) Disconnect air tube from the nebulizer kit. 3) Gently twist the nebulizer so the nebulizer cap separates from the medication tank, and then remove the vaporizer head. 4) Rinse all parts (except the air tube) with hot tap water. 5) Dry with clean paper towel or let air dry. 6) Reassemble nebulizer kit when completely dry and put the parts in a dry, sealed container.
