Troubleshooting 6. Note the position of the pipettor head after the collision. In addition, look for any causes of the collision. 7. Contact QIAGEN Technical Services. Provide the following information: - Serial number of the BioRobot M48 - Name and telephone number of the contact person - The protocol that was run and its version number - The type and number of samples used in the protocol run - The sample numbers of the block or plate in which the collision occurred - The position of the pipettor head after the collision, including the position of the tip guard and the magnet  7.2.2  Types of error log codes If the BioRobot M48 unexpectedly develops an error, click the QIAsoft M BIOS button to view the error log window (Section 5.2.4, page 5-4).
