CoZmanager® Quick Guide

If the CoZmonitor blood glucose module is attached to the Deltec Cozmo pump, remove it to expose the IR ports on the back of the pump. ®

Exposed IR ports

Loosen the battery cap on the Deltec Cozmo pump to more easily slide the CoZmonitor module off the pump. Use a nickel in the battery cap’s groove to loosen it. (Be sure to tighten the battery cap again when done.) ®

Model 1700: Open the CoZmanager program on your computer and click the “History Reports” icon. ®

Model 1800: Open the CoZmanager 2.0 program on your computer. ®

Align the IR ports on the back of the Deltec Cozmo pump within 2-4 inches of the IR adapter on your computer. Display a Home Screen on the pump by pressing any arrow key. (A Home Screen is any screen that shows the battery level and units of insulin in the cartridge.) ®

Model 1700: When the “Get from pump” icon lights up, click on it. Model 1800: When the “Get from pump” icon in the CoZmanager 2.0 software lights up, click it. Select “Get history log.” Click “OK”. The log will automatically upload to your computer. ®

If CoZmanager has not seen the pump before, it will give three options: ®

> Associate this pump with a new pump user – Use this when creating a new profile with the pump wearer’s name (required) and ID (optional). > Associate this pump with a pump user for whom information has already been entered – Use this if a pump wearer with an existing profile receives a new pump. Select from a dropdown list of profiles that already exists in the CoZmanager system. ®

> View data but do not associate this pump with a pump user – Use this to view the data without creating or modifying a profile.

Model 1700: Set the date range, select desired reports, then click on the “View Report” icon. Model 1800: Click the “History Reports” icon and select the date range and which reports to view.

Model 1800: Click the “View Report” icon.
