The paraPAC plus - The Controls
The paraPAC plus incorporate an variable pressure relief valve.
The valve relief pressure is adjustable between 20 to 60cmsH20 and protects the patient against high pressure.
It would also come into operation when there is an occlusion in the circuit alerting the clinician to a problem.
The valve is also audible and is activated when the over pressure gas passes across it.
This system is also know as the high pressure relief alarm and the pressure limiting device.
This control also sets the high pressure electronic alarm.
