Disclaimer Antoni Carles, S.A. accepts no liability for damage caused by fire, natural disasters, actions by a third party or other accidents, or negligence and misuse by the operator, or if the device is used under unusual conditions. Antoni Carles, S.A. accepts no liability for damage deriving form the inability to use this stand, such as a loss of profits and suspension of business. Antoni Carles, S.A. accepts no liability for the results of diagnoses made by a doctor when using this equipment. Warnings Always install, use and store the ophthalmic table under controlled conditions, including the temperature range (+10ºC to +40ºC), humidity (30-75%), and atmospheric pressure (700 to 1060 hPa), dust- and condensation free, and away from direct sunlight. To ensure that the unit works correctly, place it on a horizontal, shock- and vibrationfree surface. Check that the power cable is appropriate for the voltage supplied. If the supplied voltage is higher or lower than specified, the instrument may not work correctly and may pose a fire hazard. Ensure that the sockets are duly earthed to prevent electric shock or fire in case of power failure Before using the unit, connect all cables up correctly and ensure that they are in good condition. If any faults arise when using the ophthalmic instrument, disconnect it immediately. Consult the technical support service. The table must be installed in a well-lit area, away from areas with a lot of movement and must be suitably-conditioned for fitting the instruments on the table top. Before moving the table top, the operator (Doctor, user) must ensure that no-one (patient, companion, children) is in the area taken up by the table top. Pay particular attention with people between 700 and 900 mm tall, mainly children aged between 2 and 6, to prevent them coming into contact with the tabletop Do not use alcohol, abrasive or aggressive chemical products to clean the unit. Never dismount or touch the interior of the unit by removing the casing. Only authorized technicians should carry out installation or maintenance work. Repairs to the elevation group and electronic controls should only be carried out by authorized personnel at the manufacturer’s facilities.

After using the table, disconnect all the instruments and the table itself. Turn off the table at the end of the working day. If the table will not be in use for a long period of time, please disconnect it from the mains supply by removing the power lead. Always unplug the lead carefully. Never tug on it. This could cause the wires inside to break and result in a short-circuit, an electric shock or a fire. If care is taken not to overload the table, this will prolong the life of elevation group components. The use of cell phones in the vicinity of the table while working should be actively discouraged. While using the table do not leave the patient alone. Should this be necessary, turn off the table at the mains switch. Continuous or systematic use of the table may cause operator fatigue because of the height maladjustment. The use of an adjustable-height chair is recommended to compensate for this. Place the instruments squarely in the middle of the tabletop and, if possible, fixed to it. Do not hold on to the instrument to move the table. Move the tabletop itself. The owner is responsible for keeping and maintaining the table clean and in perfect working order. The ATE-600/ ATE-650 Ophthalmic table is classified as a device unsuitable for use in a potentially flammable environment. Do not use this equipment when mixtures of flammable anaesthetic gas with oxygen or nitrogen monoxide are present. This table is not designed to work in operating theatres. Please observe all these precautions carefully before using the table. The manufacturer accepts no liability for failure to comply with these norms. Packaging Anti-vibration packaging made of corrugated paper. Re-usable and recycled material. Please contact the pick-up points in your country. This symbol is applicable for EU member countries only. To avoid potential negative consequences for the environment and possibly human health, this instrument should be disposed of (i) for EU member countries -- in accordance with WEEE (Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), of (ii) for all other countries, in accordance with local disposal and recycling laws.

Description (Figure 1) The raising tables ATE-600 / ATE-650 are designed in general to support ophthalmologic equipment, for example: retinographs, ophthalometers, split lamps etc. They have an electric raising group for adjusting the instrument. Equipped with silent end of runs in the raising column (up and down) by means of two magnetic field detectors (Hall effect). Manoeuvre button conveniently placed for easy control. Equipped with horizontal movement thanks to the 4 wheels situated on the base (2 with brake). They include auxiliary power outputs for tabletop instrument (connect according to CEI 320), 2x230V / 50Hz for model ATE-600 and 1x230V / 50Hz for model ATE-650. Consult the sizes of the optional tabletops. See Figure 1.

Electrical Installation (Figure 2).
The table must be located on a horizontal floor in a dry environment, away from any sources of heat, vibrations and radiations. Do not expose the table to direct sunlight. The electrical installation of the equipment must be earthed and have suitable protections in accordance with the legislation in force and in particular with IEC-364-4-41 standard. (Electrical installations in buildings, Part 4: Protection against electric shocks) See electrical diagram. The manufacturer will accept no responsibility if these requirements are not met.
Control Equipped with raising and lowering vertical movement by means of button control. Adjust the position manually by continuous pressing by the operator.
For safety reasons, this equipment does not have an automatic return to rest position. In the event of sticking in the lowing function, switch off the power immediately by means of the mains switch. See figure 3.
