4 Printer Installation
2. Load the paper roll into the unit, as shown in the figure.
Check to make sure that the power switch of the printer is in the OFF position before connecting the printer according to the figure above. 1. Press the cover open lever and open the top cover.

3. Switch the printer on via the power switch (1).
5 Printing a Self-test Page 4. Close the top cover and tear off the surplus paper to complete the installation.
Printing a self-test page is used to check whether the printer is operating in the normal mode. 1. Make sure that the paper roll has been loaded and the top cover has been closed. 2. Press and hold the feed button while turning on the printer. After hearing the printer start to feed paper, release the button; the printer will now print a selftest page. Manually tear off the paper after the printer stops feeding paper.
6 Operating FEED Button If you press the FEED button for a short time, the printer will feed one line at a time. If you hold the FEED button, the printer will feed paper constantly. Name

7 Routine Maintenance
$ Cleaning the print head and platen roller 1) Turn off the printer power and open the top cover. 2) If printing has just finished, please wait until the print head has completely cooled. 3) Use alcohol cotton (should be wrung out) to wipe off the stains and dust on the surface of the print head and platen roller. 4) Once the alcohol has completely evaporated, close the top cover. ! Caution:
§ Do not use hard objects (for example: forceps) on the print head and platen roller. § To increase the lifetime of the print head, it is recommended to clean the print head and platen roller every month. If the environment is dirty, increase the cleaning times accordingly. $ Cleaning the sensor 1) Turn off the printer power and open the top cover. 2) Use alcohol cotton (should be wrung out) to wipe off the stains and dust on the surface of the sensor. 3) Once the alcohol has completely evaporated, close the top cover. $ Clearing a paper jam 1) Turn off the printer and press the top cover open lever to open the top cover. 2) Clear the paper jam and close the top cover.
