The Automated High Vacuum Pump is intended for use with Stryker Advanced Cement Mixing System, High Vacuum Cement Mixing System, MixEvac® and MixEvac® II Cement Mixing Systems. The pump creates vacuum to remove entrapped air bubbles from cement during the mixing process.
A
3. Depress the pedal until the optimal vacuum level of 2022 inHg (508-559 mmHg) is obtained. The system should maintain this vacuum level throughout the mixing process. If vacuum level drops below 20 inHg, it can be reestablished with the pump. CAUTION: DO NOT exceed 22.5 inHg. It will cause the liquid monomer to boil which will increase the porosity level in the cement. 4. To release the vacuum in the mixing bowl, pull the tab on the bowl labeled RELEASE.
Cleaning Wipe the pump with warm water and mild detergent to clean. DO NOT IMMERSE.
